Master bedroom and upstairs family room with lake views. Walkout basement with kitchenette, arcade style games, big screen smart TV, and seating for 12. Perfect for gathering and relaxing after a day of swimming, fishing, or boating.
The combined indoor and outdoor space provides plenty of room for entertaining, escaping, and truly enjoying the lake experience. The home is nestled in a no wake zone that provides plenty of distance from lake traffic for swimming, fishing, or just sitting on the dock relaxing. Single slip boat dock has power and boat lift.

This waterfront home exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for family gatherings, with plenty of areas to relax and connect. We appreciated that it was pet‑friendly and offered direct access to the Lake of Egypt, including convenient boat rental options. The host communicated promptly and ensured we had all necessary information ahead of our stay. It was an excellent choice for our family fishing trip.

Relaxing weekend at the lake!

We absolutely LOVED this lake house! The kitchen is set up perfectly for everyone to hang out together while cooking, with a gorgeous view of the lake right outside the connecting, cozy living room. And you can’t run out of seating with a dining table, too! The covered dock was fantastic and where we spent most of our time fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The lower level room with foldout couches were great for kids, and having the kitchenette, laundry, and games downstairs were all bonuses. In addition, with 2 bedrooms downstairs and the master on the main level, our 2 families had plenty of space. Garage parking was another bonus to park a car, making it easy to fit the trailers for a boat and jet ski with 2 vehicles in the driveway. I highly recommend this place - we can’t wait to book it again.

Plenty of space and great location!!

The house was extremely spacious, well stocked, clean, and the kayaks were an added bonus!! Check in and out process was easy. Highly recommend!! We will be back next year!!

Beautiful lake house

Great house with lots of space, well stocked kitchen, easy access to the lake. Had a great time!Only odd thing is that the main bedroom on the main floor has a big opening near the ceiling so you can hear everything from main living area and vice versa.

Lake of Egypt

The house and property were both very nice. We enjoyed the dock and patio during our stay. Everything was very clean and as promised. We would recommend this to any family or group looking for a lake getaway! The owner was always available by text or email for any questions.

Home Away From Home

This home is exactly what our hearts needed during our stay. We visited due to a family member in Hospice and I specifically booked it so my family could come “home” daily. The lake gave us a little piece of Hawaii in the mainland. It’s equipped with everything you need. Pictures are exactly what you get and here’s the best part for me, as a cleaner myself and property manager in Hawaii for over 20 years, I’m not easy to impress and I was EXTREMELY impressed with how clean the home was upon arrival. We ran into an issue the second night we were there and the home owners were there immediately to address our issue. This stay has definitely left an imprint in our hearts and we hope to be back again someday. Mahalo for going above and beyond!!

What a wonderful stay! The lakefront setting is beautiful - incredible sunsets from the deck, cranes outside the windows almost every day, a great deep-water dock, and a protected cove that was perfect for kayaking.We also really loved how spacious and comfortable the house felt. There is SO much room, and the open kitchen, dining, and living area made it feel like home and was perfect for spending time together. The screened-in porch was another favorite, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Smart TVs in every bedroom and excellent AC were great bonuses too!My parents are 79 and 82, so the stairs were a consideration, but the railings made them completely manageable. The garage and easy access from the street were also a huge plus.For the price, we thought the value was excellent. Having such a peaceful lake getaway surrounded by nature only about two hours from St. Louis is pretty incredible. Our dog loved it too, and we’d love to bring more friend and family to stay again in the future!
