The house is set up so nicely, with mini games and toys for kids of all ages. The kitchen had everything you could need and was organized beautifully. I really appreciated having laundry soap and dishwasher soap available to use. Speaking of laundry, they had so many towels for us to use. The only note I would make if you have little kids is there are no child locks on the doors (we were a little worried about kid elopement with the lake) and the step off from the back patio is very high.

Perfect place to relax with the family! We visited my daughter for family weekend at SIU, and the lake house was absolutely beautiful! We traveled with 7 family members and everyone enjoyed their stay! From swimming in the lake, fishing, relaxing in the hot tub, watching the sunrise and relaxing on the porch, there was something for everyone! The house had all the basics plus some!! Will stay again!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The scene here is calm, relaxing, and full of moments that turn into great memories. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the scenery, and truly unwind. What we enjoy most about the neighborhood is hands down the lake. Whether it’s spending time on the water, watching the sunsets, or just taking in the peaceful surroundings, the lake is the heart of everything here. We absolutely love the area and the community — it’s friendly, welcoming, and makes this place feel special every time we visit.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

What makes our property stand out is the incredible sunset view over the lake — it’s truly something special to watch each evening. Guests also love relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the water or gathering around the fire pit right by the shoreline. Inside, the home is pristine and thoughtfully kept, creating a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone. The bunk bed room is always a favorite, especially for families and groups, making it a fun and memorable place for kids (and kids at heart). It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, views, and spaces designed for making great memories together.
