The fire wood was not needed, fortunately, as the weather cooperated for excellent golf conditions. Because of fatigue, missing the televised football game was no big deal. For disposing the trash, however, there should be instructions either in the unit or at the dumpster (or both) as to how to dump the trash in the dumpster.

This is an excellent rental for convenience to slopes, parking, walk to restaurants and market. The condo association has its own swimming pool which is not shared with the rest of the resort. Parking is close to the condo and there is one staircase with about 10 steps down. The property itself is dated and some things could use replacing. The front door lock is a bit loose though functional, the faucet in the downstairs bathroom is difficult to turn on. While the internet worked well, we were not able to get any of the apps on the TV to function and ended up streaming on our own devices. The appliances work well and there were no issues with the hot water. The host was very good about prompt communication. Overall good stay and we would certainly return.

We were traveling to attend a graduation ceremony at Liberty University and although we booked months in advance, there was nothing closer than this ( 1 hr away) that met our needs. We had to travel back and forth to Liberty 4 times and then to Charlottesville 2 times. It was doable, but we would've preferred something closer to LU and then to Chatlottesville. This was a great location for us as it was equally between LU and Chatlottesville and there was a market for gas, coffee, muffins and many choices of restaurants lunch/dinner. Communication was wonderful and the host gave easy to follow instructions and allowed for early and late checkout for free. We would definitely stay again to enjoy the resort more next time.

We spent Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great stay. The location at Wintergreen was very handy, easy walk to the market and restaurants. The unit is compact, but well equipped and very comfortable.

Family stay

Has all the amenities you need, within walking distance to slopes and main resort! One minor con is one of the downstairs bedrooms isn’t heated and gets pretty cold during our winter stay, but a small space heater is provided.
