What a beautiful property and an amazing get away. The space was perfect for me and its location both physically and its proximity to the park are incredible.

Our stay was perfect! We would not have changed a thing. The host thought of everything. It was nice waking up and having a cup of coffee before hiking the trails! This home is so cozy, cute, and super clean. Will definitely be staying again!

We enjoyed our stay but be prepared for a outside set of stairs (kind of precarious in the rain). Other than that nice place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Benton. Karen was a wonderful host and made are stay feel cozy and welcoming. The window overlooking the creek and fire pit was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

The apartment was exactly as described, cute, cozy and very clean. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely stay again if we're up that way again.

This is a cute, clean little place with a nice view of a creek. Unfortunately, as soon as we got there, a thunderstorm knocked the power out, leaving us completely incommunicado, as there's no cell phone signal. We went out for a few hours to find Wi-Fi and something to do, and the host was very responsive in dropping off batteries for the electric candles and letting us know when the power came back on. We appreciated the excellent communication!

This is a cute, quirky upstairs apartment. We found it very strange to have the bedroom captured by the bathroom (if someone locks the bathroom door, you can't get out of the bedroom). I don't recommend this place for 4 people, but it would be very nice for 2. The wifi was slower than I'm used to, but worked okay if patient. The amenities were very nice and it is nicely decorated, with many extra touches. We enjoyed the coffee and tea bar.

It is very quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting down by the creek. And if you get chilly, the living room has nice big windows, and you can still view the creek from inside. The home was clean and well maintained. It is on the second floor, so you will need to climb stairs. The bed was really comfortable, slept very well. My son stayed on the sofa bed. (There is a memory foam topper in the dining room closet for the sofa bed.) The air conditioners kept the rooms nice and cool. If you are searching for the restroom light switch, it is right under the shelving. It took me a while to find. The only 'ding' would be spotty Wi-Fi. Which was mostly of concern to my teenaged son. We stayed for a weekend and did some antiquing in Benton. If we stayed longer, we would have loved to go hiking at Ricketts Glen.

Cute apartment 15 mins from Ricketts Glen state park. Nice getaway to do some hiking and water activities at Lake Jean. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

The apartment was great! It was super clean!!! There were so many season-appropriate decorations which made the space feel warm, cozy, & comfy.The purpose of our trip was to hike and the location of the apartment was perfect! We were just minutes away from Ricketts Glen State Park. Communication with the owner was quick & easy.I would stay here again should the opportunity arise.

I loved this place! It is clean, quiet, safe, comfortable, and absolutely adorable. Although it's a small space, there is everything and anything you could possibly need. It was nice curling up on the couch with a book, looking out at the water. I'd stay here again and would recommend this place to others. One note, this is a 2nd floor apartment located above someone's home. Was not an issue for me at all, but I was a bit confused when trying to get in the first time. Thank you for sharing your home with me!

Place is exactly like the pictures and spotless. Karen was great. We had some severe weather, and she was knocking on our door to make sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is how uncomfortable and hard the couch was. There really wasn't anywhere else to sit after a long day of hiking so it stood out to me. Otherwise, this place is exactly as advertised with a great host.

Clean, nicely decorated, quiet area, I had my own apartment upstairs with separate door to upstairs, family member lived on the main floor, wi-Fi was slower than I’m used to, difficulty with cell service in the area, which made it a little difficult to get with the host the last minute. Family member living on the property was very nice when I drove by before check-in time to find the location and make sure I was able to get in. I didn’t have cell service so he graciously set me up with hold hold Wi-Fi on my phone so I could find my next location. I would recommend and return if I was in the area.

Very family friendly and clean. Was very comfortable and made you feel like you were at home. This was the second time I stayed at a bnb and haven't been disappointed. Thank you Karen for a great experience!

Great location close to Ricketts Glen State Park. Restful stay after strenuous hikes. Clean and welcoming apartment. Close to restaurants for dinner. Since we had a kitchenette, we were able to cook breakfast and make lunches with food we brought from home.

We had a little snafu with our reservation and it unfortunately did not sync with the host's calendar so my partner and I were unexpected guests! Luckily, we were able to get in and enjoy the apartment for a night anyway, and it was still in good shape for our arrival minus having to change the bed sheets. Of course, accidents happen and Karen was incredibly apologetic for the mix-up and refunded us even though we did stay the night, which was SO generous. Even with the mix-up, we had a lovely stay and the apartment was extremely convenient to get to after our day in Rickett's Glen. (Protip: the bed is through the bathroom in the back of the apartment. We were a little slow to find it!) All said and done, this was a great place to crash after a long day of hiking and you can see the care that has gone into it with lots of charming details and amenities. We'd happily return!
