Very nice, quick stay. Unfortunately we had to cut our time short due to the weather so we couldn’t fully experience it all but the cabin was great! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hopefully we can come again with better weather!

Had a fantastic time at the cabin. Very secluded but still able to get to great locations for hiking in a decent amount of time. A already looking into booking for next year!

The cabin was very clean and well kept. It was relaxing to sit out on the porch and drink our morning coffee surrounded by the quietness of the woods. The fire pit was nice to make our supper and we didn’t have to worry about having firewood, because it was supplied. A very nice place for a get away too. Greg was very quick to get back to us.

This cabin was amazingly clean and so comfortable. But the main joy for my husband and I was the intense wonderful feel of being deep in the woods, hearing nothing but the sounds of nature. Just incredibly relaxing and healing. And wonderful to have so many good trails close by. The host left very good info about nearby activities and how to contact if there were any problems, which we did not have. And the cabin is very esthetically pleasing. We hope to come soon again.

The property was immaculate. Check in was very easy. The outside fire ring and chairs surrounding were very cozy. We did not use the twin beds, but we slept on the queen bed, and that was probably one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. We were only staying for a couple days, but we had everything we needed, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, the living room was very cozy. Nice covered front porch, adequate outside lighting. The heating system was very easy to use. I will tell you, when they say that it is a secluded cabin be prepared to be secluded! You have a fairly long road to get to the driveway, then a fairly long driveway to get to the cabin. If you're looking for seclusion and to get away, this is your place. 15 minutes from World's end, couldn't be happier, trying to figure out when we can rebook again.Also... there is a lot of open property in front of the cabin. If you turn off all the lights, you can see a million stars! There were a lot of trees, so couldn't see through them but the Open Sky area is, tons of stars. So if you were there in the spring before all the leaves came on, or here in the fall after all the leaves fell it is absolutely beautiful.

Oh my goodness! This cabin was perfect , very remote and super quiet. It's almost a mile off the macadam road via dirt road. When we arrived at the end of the lane at the cabin , we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I and our German Shepherd, Benny ( his first trip away from home ) really enjoyed our stay there. A great place to disconnect and enjoy the mountains. We cooked all our meals there since we had our dog with and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking necessities. We hiked everyday and found some really great trails off the dirt road near the cabin. The one to the Haystacks was a really nice hike, a little difficult at the very end but worth it.There was nobody but us out there. We also drove up to Worlds End and up to Knob Hill lookout ( recommend going at sunset ). and found some other out of the way trails with waterfalls. You do need to bring water to drink and cook with, it is very hard water there. The bed was very comfortable and the living room was a nice size to sit back and read or watch tv. The grounds are just beautiful and well kept. Our dog was able to run in the large mowed area and the fire pit and seating is lovely.We saw deer, a grouse and heard coyotes in the distance . I was hoping to see a bear , maybe next time...Our host, Greg was the best! Very responsive and helpful with any questions. We are planning on booking again next fall but for a longer stay.A note to the host...Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin with us

Cabin needed better heat as it was mid January and it was dangerous getting to cabin due to very icy conditions on roads. Definitely was a cabin in the woods. Hiking nearby.

Remote and peaceful cabin

The cabin is pretty bare bones accommodations, but the setting is lovely, peaceful and quiet. Walk out the door to hiking trails.

Peaceful place

Clean, secluded, comfortable

I loved my stay at High Rocks! The cabin is very secluded and quiet, it was very clean, and the furniture (especially the queen bed) is very comfortable. It is also a great location for hiking. Very highly recommended!

Perfect and secluded

This place was the cutest! It was close enough that we were able to run to a store nearby yet so far back in the woods there was no light/sound pollution. Cell service was a bonus too!
