This is a great place if you have kids, the pool and hot tub are great and there is a lot of things to do in their yard and the game room in the house is amazing. I would recommend this home, it is close to all the things in Grand Junction and is in a great location

Amazing property. Perfect for a bachelorette party and very family friendly. We could’ve JUST hung out here the whole time. One of the coolest places I’ve stayed. Also- the surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous and so quiet. I went for long runs in the morning- great trail near a creek! Couldn’t have been happier. Our host was so responsive, I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be coming back!

Warning: You'll need an itinerary just to use the amenities. We had a strict schedule: 9 AM tee time, 10 am Bowling, 11 AM pool and air hockey, 3 PM secret game room and couch surfing, 5 PM hot tub and 7pm Fire pit. We highly recommend booking a second week just to recover from the sheer volume of fun available. This place is less a rental, more a lifestyle with a fun boho vibe!Mahalo!

Check-in and check-out were easy and everything was as described. The kids (and several of the adults) will remember the game room and all the outdoor activities as a highlight for years to come.

Our friend group of 6 had the best time here enjoying all the games and the pool! It was the perfect relaxing but fun intermission during our Utah to Colorado road trip. We’d love to come back next year!

This house was amazing! We never had a dull moment! Outdoor adventures all day then BBQ, hot tub and games at night. Every house has its quirks and this one was the hunt for the switch or remote to turn on/off each light. It wasn't a big deal and our overall experience was great! I would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the game room, and the adults love it as well. We had so much fun. Decorated beautifully. It also is so open making it feel huge. The host is great and so responsive. Exactly as described.

We were excited about this property when we booked it. It was fairly expensive for Grand Junction, but it looked like it had a lot of cool amenities. However, when we arrived, the property had a huge moth problem. In the first hour or so, we killed probably 50 of the large moths. They were flittering around in every room. We contacted the host and he sent over one of their cleaning persons. She killed a few more of the moths and left some fly swatters but that was it. The moth problem continued to persist. They were especially numerous in the garage turned rec room. The problem was exacerbated by the fact that the hidden door leading to this room had a broken latch, so the door kept swinging open and letting some of the moths go into the rest of the house. The host indicated that a prior guest had broken the latch that kept the door shut. The cleaning person did try to rectify the problem by putting some two-sided tape on the door edge, but after a while, this proved equally ineffectual at keeping the door closed.The next day, we advised the host that the moth problem had continued. He sent over some off the shelf insect sticky traps, but they proved to be worthless. We continued to kill 3-5 moths in every room the rest of our stay. While I credit the host for trying to remedy the moth problem, his efforts didn't rectify the fact that we didn't get what we paid for. Our experience was completely soured by the probably 100 moths we had to kill

Thank you for your feedback, David. The moth issue you experienced was certainly frustrating, and I agree that it was not the standard experience we strive to provide at Casa Kokopelli. For the benefit of future guests, I would like to provide additional context. Prior to arrival, I accommodated David's request for an early 12:30 PM check-in. Approximately two hours after arrival, I was notified of moth activity in the game room. Because this occurred on the start of Memorial Day weekend, pest control services were unavailable that afternoon, so I immediately sent my cleaner to the property instead. She arrived within roughly two hours, spent 30–40 minutes addressing the issue, and left additional supplies to help manage any remaining insects. During her visit, she also noted that the game room window was open, which may have contributed to the problem. The following day, David informed me there were still moths present. Within about an hour, I had several different insect-control products delivered to the property and asked to be kept updated so I could continue addressing the situation if needed. After that, I did not receive further communication regarding the effectiveness of those measures during the remainder of the stay. While I understand David's disappointment, I believe it's important to note that this was an unexpected issue rather than a recurring condition of the property. When unforeseen problems arise, my responsibility is to respond quickly and do everything reasonably available to correct them. In this case, I arranged immediate on-site assistance, provided additional mitigation measures, and ultimately waived the early check-in fee because I recognized the inconvenience. I regret that David's stay was impacted, but I am confident that my response reflects the level of care and attentiveness that the vast majority of Casa Kokopelli guests have come to expect.

Nice house - as advertised!!

Me, my brother and 3 friends enjoyed the house for three nights while we rode the Co2Ut gravel ride. My expectations for the amenities were pretty low, because, let's face it, a lot of times things like games and hot tubs are pretty beat up. Not with this place - fully functional and exceeded expectations.All the games in the game room were of nice quality and working order. Same with the hot tun, bbq, and all of the outdoor games. Not that we needed a lot, but the host was very responsive to questions/needs. The place is very clean and we found it comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The bike mechanic's workshop in the back was a nice touch and one that we took advantage of. We'd definitely stay again if we do the ride again in the future.

Just my thoughts

Overall it really was a pretty good stay, but I have to say I was disappointed in several things. I would prefer to have just regular old fashioned light switches instead of confusing remotes for every light and fan in the whole house. Same goes for cheeky “touch” faucet in the kitchen that no one can figure out how to make it work. Lol. My biggest disappointment was the hot tub… by day 3 it was getting a funky odor day 4 was 10 times worse. Not even a hint of chlorine, so I guess it was malfunctioning or the service company was definitely not doing their job to keep it clean and sanitary. Everyone did have a lot of fun there, but I thought it was pretty overpriced for the quality of stay.

This was a great place for a family vacation. We spent most of our time in the pool and in the game room. It was clean and the owner has thought of everything to make sure you have everything you need. This is the place for you, if you want plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. The pictures are very accurate to what you get.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, very clean, and had plenty of comfortable spaces to relax and enjoy our time. The pool and outdoor areas were especially nice, and the overall atmosphere made it a great place to unwind.The property manager was excellent—very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Communication was quick and easy, which made everything even more enjoyable.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay.
