Absolutely amazing!

Our stay was amazing! Shell beach house was just like being at home and they had everything we needed plus more! Our family will be going back soon!

SIESTA KEY PERFECTION

So much space indoors and outdoors, Location was perfect! Very clean with all that you need to entertain even on the rainy days! We will be back!

Excellent space

Beautiful, clean, and spacious house! Wished for more direct sunlight in the pool but it was noted on the website so we knew forehand that it would be that way.

Dream vacation in Siesta Key

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were enchanted by the large and modern house with a beautiful pool! Everything was as described, the house was clean and the furniture was complete!

Had a great time! House was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We didn’t need to bring anything for our beach days since the owners supplied lots of beach items (umbrella, wagon chairs etc) The house is within walking distance of a small beach but it was too small for spending the day but we were able to drive to the main beach area that had plenty of parking and a huge beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly fit our needs

This was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and one infant. (parents and 2 married sons). This home has several gathering places for all of us to hang out together, yet we all had our own private space. Gracious host and prompt responses when needed. Everyone loved it and had a great vacation. I wish it could have lasted another week!

Kitchen was adequate.Pool was nice once the water warmed up to expected temperature, but it took longer than I would have liked.The main problem was outside with the traffic noise which made it unpleasant at times to be sitting out by the pool.If you had other things going on by the pool such as kids playing, then I suppose you might not notice the sounds as much.Inside the house was clean, quiet.

Great place on a great key

Walking to town is a bit longer but a nice way to start the morning. Facilities were in great shape and maintenance company was responsive. We would stay here again.

Great Place but Traffic is so Loud!

House and pool were great. Beach access is a lot further than what is stated in description if you have more than 2 people wanting to go to beach. Traffic is awful and extremely loud!! Cars are constant drag racing and music loudest you have ever heard! Siesta needs to consider having some noise ordinance for sure!!

Thanks for staying. This guest did stay during the pinnacle of the year during spring break however other than this week there is no such traffic. Google maps says 5 minute walk and have walked it myself in about the same time.

The toilet backed up, the pool was filthy, the dryer didn’t work, the water was turned off for a whole day. We were not able to use it and had to leave a day early, and the host never contacted us after several attempts to reimburse us for a day. Twice while we were there, they had Cleaning crews that made the environment very noisy. It was as though we were just backup people to fill their pockets rather than an enjoyable experience with six pastors that were going for rest. Very sad.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The pool and the proximity to the beach were both amazing. We were extremely happy with the house and all the came with it. We had pool and beach supplies that were available to us. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is very little in the way of spices and condiments. And there is only one roll of TP per bathroom. If you are a group of more than 2-3 people, be sure to grab some when you stop at the grocery store. Although there were a few things that could have been provided, it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful vacation. I would recommend staying at this house and we will certainly come back to this property if we find ourselves in Sarasota again. Thank you for providing such a great house!!

Consumable items are not provided apart from "starter" items and detailed information is provided for what is and what is not provided in the property information section called "What to bring" it is also disclosed in the terms & conditions presented to guests during the booking process. We do have a Welcome Package that can be purchased which provides a myriad of consumable products and more awaiting your arrival at the property.

Beautiful home with a great central location

This home was situated on a street that was under renovation from a hurricane the year prior. However, all repairs were complete on this home with the exception of a few outdoor ones that were being completed while we were there. Home was spacious and clean. Every issue that arose was addressed promptly. We even left our laptop and they allowed us to have it mailed it to us. The pool was partially in the shade all day which was nice. There was also a screened in balcony overlooking the pool. Kitchen was nicely stocked with necessities. The property also had beach chairs, coolers, pool floats, etc to use. The only complaint I had was the distance to the beach. There are several beach accesses around the key, but the one in walking distance off of Shell Road was closed I’m assuming due to the storm. We had to drive to public beach access every day. Would recommend!

Almost an A+

Everything about this property was perfect for our family...except the lack of ESPN on the TV. We were there during the busiest football week of the year for college bowl games, we had 5 large TVs, we are huge college football fans and we watched ESPN on a mini I-Pad sitting on the coffee table with 7 people around it. After paying premium rent for a holiday week, we would have thought the owners could have spent $10-15 more a month for the next level of cable. ESPN did not allow any kind of hook-ups to get it onto a TV screen. Very disappointing. Otherwise the property was great. A lot of traffic to get to the beautiful public beach, but that was probably because of the holiday.

I have an ESPN now account which you could have logged into the ESPN now app on the smart TV and watched any ESPN channels. Interesting it is mentioned they watched ESPN on their i-Pad mini, the only way to do that would be if you too had an ESPN now app and account, the guest could have simply logged into the app on the smart TV's....

Great Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Shell Beach House. The property was clean. The pool was great - we paid extra to have it heated. It does require a drive to get to Siesta Key beach which was not a problem for us because with a 9 month old, we utilized the pool more than the beach. Shell beach (a very small beach) is within walking distance and my 4 year old enjoyed that. Being on the corner of a main road, there was some loud traffic on the weekend but it calmed down after 10 pm or so. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Great place for a family vacation!

Fantastic vacation!

Beautiful home & pool, we truly enjoyed everything about this rental property. Morning coffee overlooking the tropical pool setting, very spacious home with everything you need. Perfectly outfitted for a day at the beach, umbrellas, chairs, cooler. Property Management company was one of the best we ever worked with. Highly recommend & we will be back!
