My aunt and uncle built this cabin in the 60s so I’m a bit biased. However, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place and Jessica was responsive and pleasant to work with. Couldn’t ask for more.

This Vrbo property was a wonderful place to stay and matched the listing description perfectly. Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet setting, it provided a relaxing retreat while still being conveniently located—just a 20-minute drive from Vashon Island’s main town center. Everything from check-in to communication went smoothly, making for an easy, stress-free getaway.The overall atmosphere is charming and restful, though the interior furnishings and kitchen area are a bit dated and could benefit from a light refresh down the line. That said, all the essential amenities were provided, and the space was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene spot on the island.

Amazing lakefront cabin with an expansive porch. We paddle boarded Quartermaster Bay to Brighton and boated right back to the house. Hiked in Dockton forest and visited the troll at Robinson Point. The wood stove was amazing for games in the evening. Kitchen was simple but well appointed. Vashon is a place of great solitude and natural beauty, so close to major cities Seattle and Tacoma. We even took the north end ferry in for a Mariners game. We will be back.

So happy that you enjoyed your time at the cabin! Just so anyone else isn't confused - the cabin is not on a lake - it's on outer quartermaster harbor (salt water) so we have tides and a beach at low tide. :)

The cabin is clean and comfortable. It's a cabin, so it's a little rustic, but it's well stocked with supplies, it's quite, and it's in an idyllic location with a great view of outer Quartermaster Harbor. We had a very comfortable couple of days there.After we left, we discovered that we left some items in the cabin. We called the host and she had found them and made them easily available for us to pick up. Very nice people, and I can't recommend them enough.We will stay here again when we return to Vashon/Maury Island.

The pictures can not do the view any justice. It is amazing and so quiet! The walk down to the beach is easy and what treasure can be found when the tide goes out. We will definitely reserve this rental again.

The cabin was very clean and the host very available. The deck was the best! So peaceful,beautiful& quiet. A few extra niceties would have been nice. Saran wrap, enough dish soap,shampoo and maybe matching towels. But overall a good calming trip. Still a 4 stay.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was a last minute trip for our family and Jessica was great in answering all our questions. The location was amazing for exploring the beach, SUP’ing, and watching the beautiful sunsets from the deck. A perfect rustic and relaxing getaway; we’ve already booked another time to return.

I almost don't want to share the charm of this cabin on the water so I can still get it again soon. The 180 degree inlet view of tides, wildlife, boats and clouds is outstanding. The cabin is equipped with everything you would need. Communication with the host was excellent and the beds were comfortable! Will definitely return.

Always an awesome stay at the Kingfisher cabin!

This was our 3rd time staying here, we obviously go back for a reason. This property is fantastic for a very relaxing stay. The deck is amazing to sit with a book & beverage and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
