Exceptionally charming. We loved the sweet little cabin for our family of 4. We all enjoyed the proximity to the beach and a warm evening fire in the woodstove. Thank you for the stay at your place!

Such an incredible place to stay, geese and deer hanging out on the lawn, otters in the water, outdoor kitchen on the beach. It was quiet, peaceful and perfect.

Perfect getaway!

This place was perfect for two, we had lots of fun exploring the attached beach and admiring the style of this place, very nice open sunroom and pretty private from neighbors!

We came primarily for the view, as we marked our anniversary. The property did not disappoint - everything clean and comfortable, with an amazing view south across the Sound. Very quiet area, nicely secluded far back from any roads.

Amazing property, incredible views. Wonderful host!

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. This is a very upscale and well kept property. The grounds are expansive and well kept, you feel like you’re staying on a family members estate, the beach is amazing. I hope to return again soon.

Wonderful getaway

We loved staying here. There was a wide variety of birds at the bird feeder out back. The view was spectacular. The decor was adorable. Parking and getting into the building was easy.

The property is stunning and the cottage/loft couldn't be more charming. Beautifully decorated. Felt like a true getaway from life's hustle and bustle. Can't wait to return!

Breathtaking Views & Garden

Had the most wonderful time at the loft on the island. Waking up to the water, flowers, wildlife and cozy comforts of a home. Meeting the beautiful horse Grady and watching him swim was a memory we will never forget!

Great Getaway!

We loved the property, especially the beach area! Was a little warm since the windows did not open. It mentioned a dvd player in the listing but we never saw one. Overall we loved our stay, very relaxing!

There is a DVD player in the tv room right below the TV - PLEASE ASK if you need ANYTHING during your stay and we will be happy to help- There are opening sliders and doors with screens and fans in every room. The house is right above the water, breezy, and never hot if you air it out for a few minutes. Sliders and windows in all bedrooms, kitchen, 3 in living room. I hate to get 4 star reviews for things that guests missed because they didn't ask.

Peaceful. Relaxing. Perfect.

The property is incredible and the host, Lisa, was gracious. The online pics don’t capture the majesty and beauty of the property. Vashon Island offers plenty to see and do for a low-key getaway with great food and friendly people.

Perfect Honeymoon

This was the perfect intimate getaway for our honeymoon. It provided the perfect environment to enjoy each others company, reminisce on wedding memories, and look to the future. Lisa is a great host. She was easy to get in contact with and was a lovely person in general. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Exceptional Views, Quiet and Private, Lush Gardens

This property is very special with unexpected views! The house is surrounded by extensive views, lush gardens, multiple decks and sitting areas , and is simply beautiful! Creative rooms are all well-appointed and fun. I hope to return with family or friends as it is a GEM!

Beach Access & Views are the Star of this Show!

The beach access, lawn and sweeping views are the main reason we chose this location and we were not disappointed. The bungalow is cozy, clean and uniquely appointed. We didn't let the minimalist kitchen and a few dated features stop us from taking full advantage of the whole property (beach, lawn, views, wildlife, etc.) Already looking forward to coming back -- perfect setting for a true PacNW getaway.

Peaceful get-away with stunning views!

This is a perfect escape place that's incredibly peaceful and surrounded by beautiful gardens and open space areas. The Puget Sound views are totally stunning featuring Mount Rainier as magnificent visual element. So very lovely! The indoor spaces are very relaxing with unique rustic charm abounding. Well equipped with pretty much everything our family needed for a special get-away.

Overnight getaway

Lovely spot on Vashon Island with a beautiful garden and path to the beach. Loved everything about the place and a really quiet and peaceful spot. The only notes: The listing noted a hot tub (and definitely did not have one) and we had a little double booking issue that arose in which the owner swiftly made accommodations for the other couple that arrived and was just as confused as us.

Cozy wood stove, picture windows, dining on the beach

We would certainly return again for a longer stay. I rented the property for an overnight trip with a couple old friends. We loved all the natural light during the day and a cozy fire and the wood-burning stove in the evening. Our favorite part was walking down the staircase to the beach, where there is a great seating area and dining table close enough to the water for wildlife watching and beach strolling. If you are sensitive to light in the mornings, I suggest you bring an eye mask as the window coverings are not very dark.

Beautiful beach cottage

Property and home were wonderful, great beach area to use. Very quiet, mostly private with exception of no ability to prevent others enjoying the outside area to not see you down stairs, especially when coming out of the bathroom in a towel. The only off thing is that we were charged an extra fee to bring our infant son with us which we’ve never had happen before after staying at many places.

Unique space with a wonderful view

This was a a great place for our stay on Vashon. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable. The host is super friendly. The gardens and view are just wonderful. There was a very active bird feeder for some awesome nature tv. A very steep trial that takes your right to the beach. Note the location worked for us because it was close the reception but this is on the furthest south east corner of Vashon. Overall great place to stay.
