A quaint little cottage that sits steps from the water's edge on Vaughn Bay. 1br., full size kitchen and faces west. The kitchen is equipped with all the items needed for cooking, along with a large refrigerator. The living and dining areas are comfortably furnished. Linen and towels are provided, also small washer/dryer. See THE SHOOTING STARS as you sleep under the canopy of stars in MASTER BR., custom hand painted by Stellar Vision (seen only at night). Enjoy campfires. In season: Can pick blueberries right off the deck.

Blueberry cottage is such magical place , very tranquil. Alma created a little slice of paradise and kind enough to share it with others. When you inside or outside you can feel her love for the place and for her guests. Please do yourself a favor and stay at Blueberry cottage. We can’t wait to come back again next year. This peaceful beach cottage was just what we needed for the last stop of our road trip visiting family. It was immaculate and Alma was very accommodating when at the last minute we had to bring our dog!

The house was immaculate, cozy, and perfectly placed, and Alma was both respectful of our privacy and available for our needs. She is a gracious host and offers the most beautiful property I have had the pleasure of occupying in the PNW.

A very cute little cottage. It was quiet and so beautiful in the morning. Host is very accommodating, we needed to add our dog at the last minute and she was able to do that. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was exactly what we needed for a quick city escape. Right on the lake, the views were stunning—calm mornings with mist over the water. The scenery is pure postcard, and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful.

This is an absolutely beautiful home, we loved staying here. It was even decorated for valentine’s day, with real orchids and even a (sealed, store-bought) cake left for us! Everything about the home from the view to the furniture and appliances felt high quality. Would highly recommend!

Same lovely place even in January! Thank you Alma for hosting this gem...Do with a BBQ was working, and the propane for the table too. But again, we come as often as we can and just LOVE this cottage!

This cottage is small but mighty. It has a good size kitchen with high quality appliances and lots of dishes, kitchen utensils, cookware and spices. There is a huge deck with lots of outdoor seating (which we sadly couldn’t use during our rainy March stay) and you can paddle out onto the water right from the property. Nice European touches (cloth napkins, handheld shower head and a food scale) round up the comfy cottage.

Very welcoming, peaceful, cozy cottage with outstanding kitchen, comfy sofas in living room, good bedroom. All clean and quaint. Fenced balcony for dog and access to lawn and lake. A big family property with several other houses and units close by but still private. There are other dogs on the property that are contained and never loose.

This place is small but it has everything you need for a lovely stay. It was very clean and comfortable, and you cant beat the view... or the quiet. Rained for our stay but the outdoor space looks like it would be great in the summer. The deck is HUGE and totally gated - which is good for the pups and kids. Would stay again.

This property was owned by our family back in the 1800's bought from William Vaughn himself and sold - (1979). We were able to purchase it back in 2011, 32 years later. Our love for this place is so strong, we wanted to share with others the same opportunities we felt.

The Blueberry cottage (Vaughn Bay) A place where freedom is felt and loved. Watching the magical sunsets, never one duplicated! Free roaming wildlife to watch and share with. The beach is filled with its own life. At low tide watch as the clams bask in the warmth of the sand - a song of their own. The small crabs find refuge under the rocks. With tides high or low it's a world of enchantment, hours of fun and relaxing

Use the small Dock - launch for your own boat/kayak, or the public launch across the bay.

Shopping and fine Dining: 10 minutes away, Maritime Gig Harbor offers waterfront shopping. The Blueberry Cottage: offers easy access to the Olympic peninsula, Olympic National Park and Hood canal. It is nearby Belfair - Shelton known for it's ATV trails and nature preserve.
