Secluded ranch house on 9 acres near Whitefish, MT

Consider this property your home away from home any time of the year while you visit Whitefish, Glacier National Park or the surrounding area. This fabulous property features 3 pleasant bedrooms with queen beds, 2 soothing bathrooms with a jetted bathtub, and essential amenities like Starlink, Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer. Relax in the cozy living space or enjoy the fresh mountain air on the outdoor patio. Includes a quaint, rustic cabin that sleeps an additional 2 (full size bed).

Included is a gas fireplace inside for added warmth and ambiance. There is an outside firepit that is great for evening gatherings or roasting marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for an additional fee.

Feel free to explore all 9 acres and the adjacent State forest (a map is included in guest welcome guide). The Stillwater River runs across the State forest and is a short hike, but takes some bushwacking and log hopping to get there.

A beatiful home in a tranquil setting. Coffee with the turkeys and deer is a wonderful way to start the day. The fireplace is a wonderful way to end the day

We were in Whitefish for our daughter’s engagement in Glacier. Jay’s property was perfect for our trip. It had everything we needed, including lots of extra special touches. It was immaculate inside and the surrounding area was stunningly beautiful. The extra soft bedding and soaker tub were especially nice after long days of hiking. We would definitely stay here again when we return.

We stayed here for a trip to Glacier. We loved it. I would stay here again. It is secluded, but not too far from Whitefish at the same time. It’s in a beautiful area and it has a real country feel. The beds are comfortable and you’ll love the kitchen. The grill is great and we enjoyed cooking supper there a couple of nights. Cons: Need more than 2 wash cloths and the water pressure is a little low when 2 are showering at the same time. That being said, it’s a 10/10 for us.

Thanks for the honest review and we always appreciate the feedback. We will make sure there are additional wash cloths going forward and we plan to have the plumber come out for a service inspection; will have him evaluate the water pressure from the pump house.

We loved the house, it was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. Everyone had a great time and we really enjoyed our stay! I would recommend anyone to stay here especially a bigger family

House is so cozy and warm. We enjoyed sitting by the fire place and looking out over the beautiful view watching it snow. We prefer to stay places outside of the mainstream and city limits, and this place is perfect that. We had quiet and privacy to relax and enjoy Christmas and New Year’s with our family there. We hope to visit again!

This cabin was perfect. Very clean and neat. Perfect for our stay. The host responded very quickly to our questions and was very helpful. We highly recommend this cabin. It was in the perfect location for us.

This property was perfect for 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 labradors! Plenty of room inside and outside. Amenities are top notch, and the host is super responsive. Kitchen is the best equipped we’ve ever experienced. Beds are very comfortable, and the decor is very nice without being pretentious. So much to see and do…this is a place to return to in any and all seasons!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We had the best time staying in this beautiful home! We were a fair size group and we had no issues with having privacy! The host was amazing and everything was super easy and straight forward! Will definitely be back if we come back to the area!

Host left detailed instructions for the check-in and check-out process. The property was exactly as described and in a beautiful location, close to Whitefish and a short drive from Glacier National Park. We enjoyed the spacious deck and fire pit. Would highly recommend!

Plenty of room, clean and quiet! Well furnished and many amenities. A perfect place for my family to stay as we had a busy (wedding) time in nearby Canada. Jay was very responsive,helpful and accommodating.

This 9 acres is located a perfect distance from town, has direct access to the Stillwater State Forest and the Stillwater River is accessible by foot across the state forest. This property is near resort skiing (Whitefish Mountain Resort), backcountry skiing (Great Northern Powder Guides), snowmobiling (Action Rentals or NW MT Adventures), dog sled rides (Dog Sled Adventures) and x-country skiing/snowshoeing(Dog Creek Lodge & Nordic Center).

Summer is the best time in Montana with cool nights and warm days. Activities are within a short distance as well: Kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, Glacier Park, paddle boarding, rafting & ATV rentals are within minutes.
