Decent clean and neat older unit with some newer features such as 55 in TV. Narrow doors small bathroom with small clean shower. Easy location

Cleanliness of the room was not great upon arrival. Random socks, towels left out, shoes in couch. Other than the cleanliness it was expected and in a great location.

Apartment was clean, stocked well with supplies (ie coffee, shower soaps, dish soap, etc), and cutely decorated.

Had excellent communication with the renter. The place was very cute and located directly across from the city park boat launch on Leech Lake. Thank you for the excellent stay!

This stay was disappointing. The property felt more like a poorly maintained roadside motel than a vacation rental. The floors had not been swept and there was food and debris on them when we arrived. There was also only about a quarter roll of toilet paper left, sitting on top of an empty roll, and the welcome information stated that supplies would not be replaced.We had reported an issue with the exterior door earlier in the stay, and later ended up locked out because of it. The property manager’s son was helpful and brought us a tool so we could get back in, which we appreciated, but it was an issue that really should have been fixed before it got to that point.I hate leaving a negative review because the young man who helped us seemed kind, but the cleanliness, basic supplies, and maintenance really need more attention.

Location was perfect right across the street from the park. Host was great as well with good communication. We plan to visit and stay again!

Nice little place

Went a little trip before hubby started a new job. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. Walking distance to downtown Walker with a nice lake side park and beach right across the street.

Terrible Experience – Filthy Room and Poor Management. Our stay was completely unacceptable from start to finish. Check-in was delayed by two hours because our room wasn't ready. When we finally got inside, it was still filthy. There was long dark hair all over the shower and sink, dirt on flat wooden surfaces, and peeling wall paint. In fact, using the bathroom hair dryer caused paint chips to rain down from the vent. Unfortunately I did not take photos until after the unit had been "cleaned" and after I had cleaned up the shower and sink. The unit itself was physically neglected; the floors, though newish, were noticeably unlevel, which was a safety hazard for my balance issues. Furthermore, the screen door handle kept falling off, forcing us to carry it with us just to ensure we could get back inside. We would have moved but being the 4th of July weekend there was no pet friendly place available. Parking was another issue. When we returned the evening of July 4th for the fireworks, the lot was completely full of non-guests tailgating in lawn chairs, forcing us to park far away and walk. To top it off, management had texted offering a discount for our troubles, but they never applied any discount. Avoid this place.
