Quiet and cinvenient

Quirky and cozy apartment in excellent location, easy bus, subway, restaurants, museums, galleries and Central Park. We were very happy there.

Art in nyc

Walking distance to museums was great. Close metro stop was a plus. Really liked the vibe of the neighborhood. The apt was cute & quirky :) We'd be happy to stay there again!We'd be happy for a return visit!

This place is a dump.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. Broken down, full-size mattress with broken down queen size topper on top, making us feel like we'd slip off. The sofa was very uncomfortable and seemed to be something picked up off the street. Not the same as in the photo. The view immediately out the front window was an abandoned, worksite on scaffolding covered with debris. None of the windows opened except in the bathroom. The floor of the apartment was on a slant, and the floorboards in the entryway felt like they were going to cave in. The gas stove didn't have a vent. The coffeemaker and other cookware was dirty. The Venetian blinds in the bathroom were broken off, affording little privacy when in the bathroom. The entryway to the building was shabby. The carpet in that hallway was frayed. The window in the building entryway had a sign on it that said "Do not open or rats come in." Out that window was another abandoned work site with debris. The photos of the apartment were either old and/or photo-shopped. The only positive thing was the location. Also, the host responded when we wrote.
