Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m sorry that you left feeling uncomfortable, as creating a welcoming and comfortable place for my guests is very important to me. I do want to clarify a couple of things for future guests. There is a separate apartment on the property with a long-term tenant who has lived there for nearly two years without any issues. The guest space has its own private entrance and deadbolt, and I have had many guests (mostly single women) tell me they felt very safe and comfortable during their stay. I also checked in with during your visit, and I wish you had mentioned that you were feeling uncomfortable so I could have addressed your concerns at the time. The items in the refrigerator were intentionally provided for you complimentary—bottled water, drinks, and condiments such as mayonnaise and mustard. I’m sorry they gave you the impression that the refrigerator had not been properly cleaned. I’m grateful for the many guests who have enjoyed their stays and for the consistently positive feedback we receive about the cleanliness and comfort of the property. At the same time, I appreciate your feedback and will continue to look for ways to make the listing and expectations as clear as possible for everyone who stays with us.
