This is our third time staying here. We have had a great time every time. We love how cozy and comfortable it feels. We also love the location and close the house is to the creek.

Trout Run Cottage was the perfect beautiful home for our fall weekend getaway. Kitchen was well stocked, hot tub great, kayaks a bonus and the view was gorgeous! Communication excellent. Highly recommend! Hope to be back again.

We were looking for something by the water and this little cottage was perfect. We could open the bedroom window and hear the creek running. The screened porch made the cottage feel even bigger. We wanted to stay longer we loved it so much.

We stayed at the cottage for two nights. I thought this place was wonderful. The cottage was very neat and clean. The kitchen had all the needed supplies. We enjoyed the evening sitting by the fire (wood was provided) and listening to the creek. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the same place beside the creek. It was beautiful.The host was very responsive by providing all the necessary information needed to get there and to get inside. All questions were answered promptly. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at the Trout Run Cottage, and once again, it was wonderful! It truly is a hidden gem, and Margaret and Jesse are the most welcoming hosts.The cottage is cozy, spotless, and has everything you could possibly need. We loved sitting by the creek with a book, enjoying the fire pit, and relaxing in the jacuzzi on the screened-in porch.It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place to escape the everyday hustle and just relax and recharge. We absolutely love it here and give this cottage a 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return! The property is clean and beautifully located on Penns Creek. The house is well stocked. Communication with Host was clear and frequent from the time of reservation through check out.

We have stayed there before and will do so again. It is always clean and well maintained. The peace and quiet along with the flowing of Penn's Creek outside your door lulls you to a restful sleep. All the nesscesities are there for the kitchen and bathroom and the shower is always hot.The hot tub is a bonus for those who wish to take advantage of it. A new AC system was added this year. It is a pretty nifty unit.

The Cabin exceeded our expectations in every way! The Host was extremely helpful both prior to check-in and during our stay. The wildlife was beyond abundant, The Hot Tub relaxing, The Fireplace both indoors and out back were very relaxing. Wish we had found it 4 yrs ago when we began making the journey to visit our daughter at Penn St. Should we ever return to the area we will definitely stay here again!

Check in was super easy and the hosts were very thorough with explaining the process. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained and gorgeous views. We saw a ton of different wildlife and enjoyed seeing the local area. The hot tub was very relaxing and the cabin layout was simple and easy. We had a really great time and plan on staying again!

My husband and I was celebrating our 16 year wedding Anniversary this year and I love being near any form of water. Margaret and Jesse's cottage was perfect for us to getaway, relax and reconnect with one another. From the beautiful scenic views of the monstrous mountains to the river/creek literally a few steps away from the door everything was perfect! Oh and did I mention the cottage was clean, organized and cozy with a working fire place and a large hot tub to top it all off! We found our forever getaway with this property and Will recommend for anyone to visit and enjoy!
