GOTL Girls Trip Very nice clean cottage a little musty but it is a cottage by the lake so that was expected. I do think a dehumidifier or air purifier would help . The owner Megan was great to deal with. Small view of lake from patio.Four minute walk to little beach area. We would definitely stay again.

Nice mini getaway from home

The private beach was really nice. My daughter enjoyed playing by the beach. The cottage we stayed at was really nice and clean! Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for a girls weekend!

Our stay was great! Perfect location for a girls weekend. The cottage was a little small but served it’s purpose. Great location too in relation to things to do, places to see, and food. Would recommend and would go back!

Reenergized holiday trip

The Barefoot Bungalow was the perfect cozy weekend getaway! Lake Erie was only a short walk from the cabin. Fireworks were even provided for the Fourth of July! We will definitely turn!

Charming Cottage

We loved our stay here at the cottage. It was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the many amenities, as well as the location. The owners were very helpful with questions. Easy walking distance to the lake and park, and a short drive to the state park and swimming beach area. Our family loved this area, and we will definitely rent this cottage again!

Great experience

The rental was clean and basic amenities were supplied. The checkin process was contactless and easy. Communication with the property manager was great as she was friendly and provided all information for the stay. There was a short walk to the lake and I would recommend the rental.

Excellent!!!!

This cottage is adorable. It is clean and spacious and pretty well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing fun vacation. The owner is wonderful. He even checked with us to be sure everything was ok. I would go back again and again.

Would book again in the future

clean, convenient distance to strip (about 10-15 minute walk) but far enough away to have privacy/quiet for sleep, communication from owner was quick. the only minor issue was outside with bees and ants but it's spring/summer so it was expected - would definitely book again!

Modest cottage with Nice TV

The cottage was clean and well equipped with ample bedroom space. It was located a short walk from the down town area. The Bathroom was a little small for a family of five but workable (no counter space with a plastic accordian door). A stones throw from the coastline, but not a swimmable beach.

Very comfortable in GOTL

Very comfortable cottage. We had a family and a pup and would have been happy there for more than a weekend. It's down from the Strip ... but we were happy with that, having stayed much closer in the past. The owners were also very responsive when we had a little problem ... really great communication. We would certainly look to stay there again when get back up to GOTL.

Great family home

We had a nice relaxing family getaway. Clean and comfortable. You can access the beach through the road next to property. It is rocky but you can get a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset. The house was close to the strip. We drove but you could walk it. We bought firewood from the house on the corner of the street. Grill is charcoal.

COVID Getaway...

Great little cottage. Very clean... Fit our family of 5 with the dog. Very comfortable beds and air conditioning worked great. Beach was so private we were the only ones there. Saw a bald eagle flying overhead and two biplanes. Biked to Geneva State Park. Had a fire two nights, no problem finding wood to burn in the nearby woods. Perfect for our COVID getaway.

Girls weekend

Our group of 6 greatly enjoyed our girls' weekend. The cottage was very clean, neat and orderly. It would be a great place to spend more than a weekend because of the proximity to the GOTL strip, shopping, the beach, etc. It was close enough to the strip, but secluded enough to offer peace and quiet . Megan was an exceptional host, who went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The cottage was also in close proximity to a private beach that was a few steps away. We will most definitely be back next year. Thanks again for a great experience.

Great Location

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and there was plenty of room. We liked the large screen tv, wifi and cable especially because we had to stay indoors due to the weather the first day of our stay. The cottage is in a great location. Beach access is just down the road and it's not that far away from the strip. Having the washer and dryer there was truly a plus. The owners were quick to answer my questions before our stay. The only negative we can point out is there is no door on the bedroom with the double beds, making it difficult to sleep when others wanted to stay up to watch tv etc. We will definitely rent this cottage again!

Great location to the strip, issue with a little furry critter.

The only reason i did not give a 5 star was because we discovered a nest of baby mice in the couch and a mama mouse ran across my lap. Not very pleasant, however, it is in a great location to the lake and strip. It was cute, beds were comfortable, and Ron was very responsive. He was more than accommodating with our critter issue and compensating us so for that i would stay again and im fully confident it has been cleaned and taken care of. Thank you Ron for letting us use your lake cottage!
