Overall, a very nice property with very little to complain about. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen space was excellent for cooking (Which is usually the primary thing we look for when booking a rental location). We didn't spend any time in the back yard, but it had plenty of space if one wanted to use it. I can easily see a couple or small family thoroughly enjoying the place. The only downsides worth noting are: 1. The garage during our stay had a pronounced mold/musty/mildew smell. I did not feel comfortable parking my car inside it. No loss as you can just not use it. 2. There is a very rough drop off at the end of the driveway where it transitions to the road. I banged the front and back end of my Camry on it no matter how careful I was in backing in or pulling out. I recommend parking on the street if you have a similar sized sedan. Overall, I would gladly stay here again which is my usual marker for a good property. I recommend if you need a place in the area, this has all the essentials for a very reasonable price compared to what else we looked at when we were booking.

Our stay was great. The house was perfect for our needs. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and convenient. We would definitely stay again and recommend Melanie's property to anyone visiting the area.

Our hostess always goes a little above and beyond! When we opened the door to our away from home .. home, we were delighted by the lovely seasonal decorations to make our stay and season bright!

Property was nice with a private back patio. House was clean and welcoming. The towel situation was fantastic. The kids loved the double bed room. The only negative thing was that there was no extra toilet paper. We had a great stay. Thank you!

This house looks as it is listed. It has the cutest decor. The bed is very comfortable. The host is extremely responsive. There are plenty of towels to go around. It is in a more rural area so it will take about 20 min or so to get any stores/restaurants. The neighborhood seems to be very quiet, however we did not spend much time at the property. I'm not so sure this is a pet free property as there was evidence of animals within the home. The house was not as clean as I would have preferred upon arrival. We did not complain because our itinerary kept us out early and in late. But we did contact the host and she was extremely responsive and acknowledging of our concerns. This property provides enough space for large families, so returning is an option for us.

Home away from home!

This home provided a respite when we needed quiet for our extended stay. The home owner was very responsive and catered to our needs. The only negative is the curb to the driveway which is a large bump and difficult for a low riding car, so you need to be careful.We so enjoyed this home and hope to use this again.

Nice place and in neighborhood that felt safe and was close to lots of food options. It was a nice gesture to send a message saying there would be snacks in the kitchen, so we didn't pick any up, and then were surprised when there weren't actually any there. Other recommendations would be to have a couple cards games, and putting a ramp on the driveway. We ended up needing to park on the street because the fall down was really rough. Check in and out process was SUPER easy, place was very clean, had amenities like shampoo, conditioner, iron and board, and furniture was all comfortable. Very accommodating with allowing us to check in a little early so we could be at a rehearsal dinner on time which was much appreciated.

7/10 but could be 10/10Upon arrival the front door lock was not working, Melanie was responsive and able to provide us another way in. Once inside, we found the home clean which was our main concern and loved the modern decor. There were no snacks as listed, not necessarily an issue as we brought our own. I would just remove this from the listing so people aren't expecting them. Next morning when we woke, there was no extra toilet paper and the coffee maker was broken. Melanie again was responsive and said she would take care of it as well as the door lock. She also offered for us to get coffee in town and she would reimburse us, we had already gotten coffee so we didn't take her up on her offer but it was a nice gesture. When we got back the door lock wasn't fixed and it was determined it needed to be replaced, no big deal we could still get in. We found extra toilet paper as promised, however the coffee maker had been replaced with a hotel like coffee maker which only holds enough water for one cup and took about 5 min to brew. So, each morning we had to spend 20-25 min brewing enough coffee for the 3 of us. I would highly recommend getting a regular coffee maker that can brew in a timely fashion. The backyard table was not ready to be used during our stay as the table and cushions were dirty and there were broken branches on it, it was Mid-May so maybe it wasn't ready for Summer yet. Overall, we had a good stay but a few minor changes would make it a 10/10

The house was perfect, adorable and met all our needs. Bed was very comfortable. We were within a few minutes of our sons home. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The neighborhood was very nice. The town was very quaint and clean.
