Romantic Getway Steps from the Beach

Romantic bungalow located 250m from Pelican Beach at the quiet eastern end of beautiful Grace Bay. Accommodation consists of one bedroom with a king sized bed, generous walk-in closet and en suite showerroom. Bright open plan living / dining area with sofa which converts to a queen sized bed perfect for a second couple or older child. Chicco Playyard available for infant on request. The kitchen contains a double sink, stainless steel fridge/freezer, gas range, coffee maker and microwave. Frigidaire brand top loading washer / front loading dryer for laundry located in cupboard off living area. There is a westerly facing fully screened in rear porch perfect for catching sunsets whilst avoiding bugs, and an external sun deck with gas BBQ.

Beautiful property!

A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood, this property is a gem! The owners were very attentive and responsive. The home was near enough the more commercial Grace Bay area to allow for easy access, yet far enough away to escape the crowds. Perfect for us!

Hummingbird Guesthouse

Another wonderful stay at Hummingbird! Walking distance to Pelican beach and has all the immenities required for a week at the beach. Kitchen fully appointed and beach chairs/umbrellas make it so easy. Keep up the great work and love the latest updates to the cottage!

Nice and simple

We needed more affordable but still comfortable alternative to the very expensive and more fancy places the rest of our group were staying in. This place was perfect and we really appreciate that it was available to us.

Magical location and home, with a beach island feel and good vibes. The hosts were great and home consistent with what’s advertised and expectations. I’ll be back and would recommend this home.

Fantastic guest house!

This is our fourth time staying at the Hummingbird guest house in the past 6 years. We love it! Amazing location close to the two best beaches on the island. They have even done some updates since our first visit. We will stay here again and again!

Our 35th Wedding anniversary

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in Turks and Caicos, and this cottage made our trip unforgettable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The cottage itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely VRBO and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Perfection

This property has everything you need, and is perfect for a couple or small family. High vaulted ceilings and open plan living area make it feel much bigger than it looks in the photos. You cannot beat the location, beautiful and safe area on the island and just a 4 minute walk to the beach. Providenciales is just paradise, and we had the most perfect stay here. This house was the perfect base and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

We wanted something quaint, quiet and private! It was perfect for us. My only issue was the water pressure in the shower was not ideal for my thick hair but, HEY, who cares....you're in Paradise!

Hummingbird guesthouse

The CUTEST cottage! The location was excellent - just a block from your own beach with some sights for snorkeling right off the sand. A 5 minute drive into Grace Bay gets you onto the most beautiful beaches in the world. It’s unmatched in ease of getting around and finding a perfect spot, because this is an island full of perfect sights. We will definitely be back to Provo, we are island hoppers and this spot is a must revisit!

Quiet and Relaxing

Amazing little house in a quiet neighborhood just a very short walk from one of the nicest beaches, and the Grace Bay area with restaurants was just a short drive away. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to be able to cook dinners at home, the screened in deck is secluded and quiet, and the owners were excellent with communication prior to the trip with instructions to get there, and during the trip with questions. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing quiet location!

Perfection

The house was perfect for myself, boyfriend and daughter. The space was clean and cozy. It was literally one block from the best beach on the island, Pelican beach. This beach has great snorkeling right off the sand. We swam with a sea turtle, sting ray, barracuda, puffer fish, and so many other beautiful species. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything we needed

Bed was very comfy. A/C was more than ample. Great screened in porch area. Easy walk to the beach. Easy drive to the ferry and into town. Quiet neighborhood. Though we did see fireworks out the window one night! We found all the kitchen staples we needed and it was great to have a few bottles of water in the fridge to start. We never did find any plastic wrap or foil. Some things were dated. We did think the TV is small and at loudest, hard for my wife to hear. The coffee maker also isn't the best. The shower pressure is low, but there is plenty of hot water and we got used to it quickly. Washer/dryer was terrific. We hope we can come back soon.

Perfect location.

5 minute drive to Grace Bay beach. House is in in quiet, more upscale neighborhood. Felt safe there. House was clean, nice king size bed. Nice screened in porch, with more porch wrapped around 3/4 of house. Private parking, with gate, room for 2 cars. Nice bathroom setup. Would absolutely stay in the house again.

Perfect location

We arrived at the property and Mario showed us the house. The property is on the east end which is a 5 minute drive to all the shops. There are restaurants and a casino, nightclub within 2-3 minutes of the house. Very relaxing to go home to this place after a long day. It was perfect, and the a/c is so cold (if you choose) that you will need to get one of the extra blankets out of the closet. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect romantic getaway for the adventurer!

There isn't a better spot on the island for the adventurous couple. Stay here and rent a car to explore all the island has to offer. Leeward settlement beaches are smaller and much less crowded than the Grace Bay spots crawling with families. A 4-min walk gets you to a beach with incredible snorkeling: we stayed in July and saw sea turtles, lobster, urchins and lemon shark. Sand is so white and soft it feels like powdered sugar. The house is the perfect size for 2, very safe and clean. Definitely recommend renting a car so you can explore - recommend Omar's Beach Hut, Conch Shack, Mr. Grouper and Coco Bistro to eat. Provo Ponies horseback riding and Island Vibes snorkeling were our favorite excursions. Will book here again 10/10.

Cute cottage in great location

Excellent location and size for 2 people. Perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. Screened in back porch with table and seashells, grill, and beach chairs. Two minute walk to a quiet beach. Many stray dogs ... all very nice and will come back if you feed them (black dog is Maxie, so sweet). If you don't, they'll leave you alone. The only downside were the red ants that were everywhere inside and outside the house... on the floors, in the closet, on the counters in the kitchen. And also the water in the shower was wacky ... one second freezing cold, the next burning hot without even touching the dial. With that said, I would still recommend this location and will likely return next year!

20yr Wedding Anniversary Romantic Getaway

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week and it was beyond our expectations. This was our first time in TCI and we chose this place because it ticked off almost everything we were looking for. Upon arrival the staff left us a beautiful happy wedding anniversary card with a lovely bottle of wine that was a nice surprise. Also, our communication with the property manager Mario was very efficient and quick to respond. The location is perfectly situated a few steps away from pelican beach and the guesthouse provided everything we needed. Umbrellas, beach chairs,cooler, towels, a fully equipped kitchen and oven, washer, drier, and full size fridge which was stocked with water and drinks. We truly loved this place & we already looked to book another stay in February but it’s all sold out. We hope to stay here again in the future and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful romantic getaway to stay here. Thank you for hosting us and we want to let you know you have a great staff.

A Hidden Gem

My husband and I traveled to Turks & Caicos to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It was our first (and hopefully not last) time. We LOVED this home! The host's communication before, during, and after our trip was outstanding. The house had everything we needed- all kitchen supplies, bedding, linens, beach chairs, a small cooler, and more. The photos don't do it justice as it is much more spacious than pictured. The king-size bed was comfortable, the closet was huge, and we loved having the bathroom with sink and toilet with a separate room (with connecting door) for the shower and another sink room. The screened-in porch, outdoor porch, and clothesline were a bonus—big footprint and private. The best part was the 5-minute walk from the house to the magnificent Pelican Beach. It felt private, and hardly any people were there when we went. There was a lot of construction on the Island, including in the neighborhood and near the beaches. Going to the beach in the later afternoon avoided the construction noise. The other beach we enjoyed was Leeward Beach, about a 2-minute drive from the house. Such turquoise, warm water!!! Other highlights were eating at Omar's Beach Hut in the Five Cays area. So worth the drive. Omar is the nicest person, and the food and atmosphere (right on the beach) were amazing. We also LOVED Coco Bistro- a 5-minute drive from the house. Service and food were outstanding. We ate in the bar area, which was great and didn't require a reservation.

Steps From Paradise

The property was perfect. It is bigger than the pictures make it seem. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host and property manager was timely and thorough. The property is less than a 4-minute walk from a beautiful beach that is rarely crowded.This property has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation in Turks & Caicos!
