ALMOST BEACH APARTMENT Just Steps from the Beach -Openings Now!

I am, sorry, but I know absolutely that this is not true. Since all guests are checked in personally, and know that I am on the premises, if there were a deficiency the reasonable thing to do would be to report it. Since I also know that the towels are right out of the laundry, and the bathroom check list is meticulously done, there is no way that there was anything left on a toilet in one of my units. I have a large number of return guests and they would not be coming back time after time were any of these accusations true.

Never have I advertised a beach view, the furniture does not have stains and yes the shower was clogged and the deadbolt needed some work, those things happen at vacation rentals which are used a lot. They were fixed within four hours of report. We don't provide shampoo or food items, because tastes are too diverse, and most guests prefer to provide their own. As for the golf cart, guests should always check before bringing any extra vehicle or large rental item to make sure they are allowed. Insurance policies often prohibit them, as mine does. As for cleanliness, I was never shown any of the problem areas, or they would have been corrected immediately. So, if indeed there was a problem, that would have been the correct response.This guest lost a large deposit from not being allowed an electric golf cart, instead having to get a gas powered vehicle, and she was not happy, even though I gave her part of that deposit in cash just to make a gesture, I guess that wasn't really necessary.

This family was a pleasure to host. I only got to visit with the son while they were here, but I found him to be one of the most well-mannered, polite and interesting young men that I have ever met, and I sincerely hope they make it back for another visit, because I would love to have a chance to visit more. They were a nice couple,and I hope to see them again. Parking is limited pretty much everywhere on the island, but I do offer an alternative,it just isn't right next to the door. And there is no central air, but most guests do well with what is there. However, everybody here misses the shade we lost in the storms last year and can't wait for it to grow back.

This gentleman did not smile once from the time he arrived. They were told repeatedly they could have fresh linens any day, just put them out, they didn't. The satellite company had to send a tech with a new receiver, it took two days, and they got a DVR in the bargain.When the TV had problems, he told me he would get a lawyer and shut me done. Again, I am always happy when people are able to enjoy their time while they are here. How to put this... . my units are not condos, they are small, clean, ground-floor ( a disappearing breed) "old Florida" apartments. I actually used to have floral couches with matching easy chairs, and got rid of them. No hide-a -beds, no recliners, just comfortable, clean furniture and what you would need to enjoy a stay at the beach. I am not a resort, and I don't expect people to come just to enjoy my place, although I have a lot of every year repeat guests. I just want people to be comfortable here while they are doing all the things that this area offers, kayaking under the mangroves, riding horses in the surf, parasailing, snorkeling, fishing of every description, and of course the beach just across the street. For those, unfortunate, times when mother nature rains on the parade for a day or two, I try to make sure there are some games and reading material for anyone too sweet to venture out in the wet, but, by and large, I feel I am doing my best for my guests, when they are rested and happy and able to get out there and enjoy themselves. Glad another guest met that goal.
