The house was perfect for us. Great location being just off the main strip in Leadville and great views of the mountains! We would definitely come back.

Awesome property. So much space. There are a lot of stairs, but it is pretty cool to have a view of the mountains a floor above the surrounding properties. Also very close to the main strip. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops a quick walk away.

Awesome place to stay in Leadville! Walking distance from all the shops and gorgeous views. If you have dogs this place if very pet friendly as well with waterproof dog blankets and a backyard.

Oh my goodness- this place is fantastic. Our group of a crew and a runner in the Leadville 100 thought it was perfect. It was literally steps from the start and finish line. Beautifully maintained with awesome views. We look forward to coming back!

Family Stay

We had a great family weekend stay at Moose's Mountain Retreat! Everything was clean and well taken care of. Walking distance to shops and a short drive to hiking trails and lakes.

This wonderful property is perfect for anyone racing the LRS as it is ideally located at the start/finish on 6th. You can literally watch start/finishes from your living room windows with the best seats anywhere. And, just perfect for the racers who can sleep in and roll out the front door to your start corral. Furthermore, this property is fresh & new and very well furnished w/ everything you need. Hope to book again in the future!

Amazing stay, especially for the Leadville 100! The start and end of the race are right out your front door. Property lived as advertised. A gem for Leadville!

Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay in Leadville! The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. We loved being able to walk to all the great restaurants and shops right in town — no need to drive once we arrived! It was the perfect balance: we had our car to explore nearby areas like Beaver Creek for a day, but it was so relaxing to return and enjoy everything Leadville has to offer just steps from our door. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect mountain get away!!!

The house was beautiful and so comfortable! The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved how easy it was to walk to nearby shops and trails. The house was stocked with everything we needed which made cooking in so easy. Madison was an incredible host, super reachable, and gave us the best recommendations, including a gorgeous hike only a few minutes away. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Moose’s Mountain Retreat is just that, the cutest and coziest retreat in Leadville and just steps from all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, fun decor and a great all around vibe. It’s the perfect place to end a day of hiking, biking or whatever else brought you to the mountains. Madison, the host, is very responsive and so kind. She really created an amazing and welcoming space. We will definitely be back!

Really nice, modern, fully furbished house in Leadville with good view of Massive, Elbert, and the surrounding mountains. Nice location, half a block from Harrison Ave. Very comfortable stay, and very communicative and helpful hosts. I had a great stay.
