Great location, clean house, everything was well stocked in the kitchen and bedding etc. Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot near the college in River forest.

Love the property every thing was very clean and comfortable only problem was I didn’t have any Internet the whole time I was there for my birthday trip and I stay three days and the host took hours to respond back but besides that I love the stay.

The place was in a perfect location in walking distance of all the shops. I didn’t need a car rental to get around and appreciated the parking spot for visitors. The inside was spacious, decorated, and very clean and orderly. We had everything needed to cook and the dishwasher, washer and dryer are very nice. We used the pullout couch and my teen slept well. The beds were also comfortable although squeaky. The floor is also squeaky so expect to hear squeaking from above as well as the floor which is normal in Chicago buildings. The a/c kept us nice and cool at night. There were a few things that weren’t provided such as salt and pepper and laundry detergent but I understand they are not always provided with rentals. All in all I am glad I stayed here and I would recommend/stay here again!

Beautiful apartment

This was a beautiful apartment in a great location. It was clean and had all the amenities you need. It was an enjoyable stay and host was available for any questions.

As pictured. Unit was clean, with all the things we needed to enjoy our trip and get our daughter settled into a nearby university. Plenty of space and great, walkable location.

Excellent location. Very clean unit. Parking was as described, easy and convenient. My husband and i shared a bed that was actually a pull-out? I think? It was low to the ground with a thin mattress, but is used as a regular bed in one of the bedrooms. (I didn’t ask the other couple about their bed in the other bedroom, so idk if it was both beds or just ours.). There was a thick mattress pad over it, which made the whole thing tolerable, but not really great. It’s still just a pullout - no box spring or frame underneath. Less stable than a regular bed and lower to the ground, with sort of dangerous corners sticking out under the mattress at the foot end. Difficult to negotiate during nighttime bathroom trips, for sure. Otherwise, everything was great! Good communication, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, no requests to do our own laundry, haul our own trash, etc. on our way out. Which we really appreciated, especially traveling with a pet. We also really appreciated being able to bring our pet, who is a good traveler, but not always welcome in rental units (for understandable reasons). There are many bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within a very short walk of the unit. We also took advantage of the ‘L’ stops close by to get to wrigley field, michigan avenue, a jazz club, and the riverboat architecture tour. The ‘L’ was just 5 per person per day for unlimited rides. We were able to walk to FLW tours, as well. Overall great trip!

In general, we liked this place. Everything is well cleaned. I got a little confused when I was eating, but quickly came to my bearings. But the floor creaks a lot throughout the apartment.

Review

The house was great! it looked just like the pictures and the neighborhood was perfect for me and my family. I will stay again if in the area. I would say it would have been nice to have a welcome email or text the day of. I found the folder in the desk and that made me feel more welcomed. Nice stay overall.

Very impressed. Will likely return. We had an issue with the bathtub draining and they sent someone out quickly to handle it. I like that the owner had great communication.

Loved the walkable neighborhood with lots of eating places close by. Loved being half way between the blue and green lines directly into Chicago. The kitchen was well set up for use. We had a lovely stay!
