We had a great stay. It was out of town but an easy drive to get anywhere. The space is beautiful with simple luxuries that show Joan put a lot of thought into the details. While the place feels very secluded there are still sounds of neighborhood life around, but you can tell there has been specific design to keep the property private. We enjoyed a perfect fall night on the patio to watched the sun go down and it was very peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay! Joan was incredibly responsive and provided clear, thoughtful instructions that made everything easy from the start. We especially appreciated all the little details—drawers and switches were labeled, everything was well organized, and we truly felt pampered. The space was peaceful and serene, and the patio was absolutely amazing. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making guests feel comfortable and welcome. We would happily stay again!

This is an excellent one bedroom condo in a beautiful setting. It was delightful to sit out on the patio in the evening. Excellent access to biking trails.

Thank you for staying at our Nordic Nest Tiny house. I have not had it described as a condo before as it is not attached to anything, but the fact that you enjoyed our place and the beautiful setting is fine with us. We love to hear that our guests are enjoying the outdoor patio with the sounds of nature. Trail enthusiasts love the quick access to the Red Cedar Trail only a short distance away. We will see you again this fall!

I have only positive things to say about this property and host! Everything was simply amazing. Any amenity you could ever need was there. The patio was our favorite place to hang out and play cards. The entire vibe was perfect! Thank you so much.

This beautiful property was exactly what we wanted. We loved the selection of cookware and dishes, the cozy places to sit and relax, and the patio with the awesome fire table and grill! The bed was a little saggy in the middle, but otherwise very comfortable. Some easy to find instructions on how to work the air conditioners would be awesome, but we were able to figure it out. Really loved waking up in the morning to see chipmunks and rabbits and birds, and listening to the owls in the evening. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Wonderful cozy space in the countryside just a few minutes away from town. Space was very clean. Check-in was smooth and the owners were good at communicating with us.

Had a wonderful stay at the Nordic Nest! Cozy, clean, charming and very well-appointed. Hosts were proactive, friendly and helpful throughout. Great rural location but still close to Menomonie. Loved everything and would absolutely stay again!

The Nordic nest is a lovely getaway. It’s perfectly outfitted, with little extras like the candles and options for coffee, great local recs, and Joan is a very responsive and kind host. Highly recommend this beautiful spot.

We had a great time and loved the nearby parks and trails to walk, ride bikes, and pick-up local food and drink. We will be back again in the future.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We absolutely adored our stay at the Nordic Nest! Exactly what we were looking for, and the property was even better in person. The attention to detail was outstanding, and we felt right at home. We would love to come back when it's warmer to take advantage of all the property has to offer!

Joan should teach classes about how to run a VRBO. This place was just perfect for the weekend as we visited our son at college. She has thought of everything at the Nordic Nest.

Cozy and serene getaway

The propery is a perfect spot for 2, lovely outdoor patio and nicely appointed with all the necessities. Highly recommend! The owners are very pleasant and accommodating.

Private Sanctuary

This is a great place if you are traveling solo and need some quiet time. It feels very private but is not isolated, so it still feels very safe. I loved all of the special touches. Very well designed and maintained.

We had an absolutely perfect stay and can honestly say this place deserves a full 10/10. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt both cozy and thoughtfully designed. You can really tell how much care the host puts into maintaining the property. Communication with the host was seamless, friendly, and prompt, which made the entire experience stress-free. My boyfriend and I both agreed this was one of the best Vrbo properties we’ve ever stayed in. We would absolutely book again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay.

The Perfect Nest

The property is modern and comfortable, clean and inviting, so many kind details! We had our dogs with us and they asked if they could stay after trying the treats our host left!! The bed was comfy and bathroom very roomy. All the notes were clear and I wouldn’t change a thing. So grateful for a place to stay out of the way but easily accessed!
