This was a perfect spot for our family and friends while attending a wedding weekend in Menomonie. It has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and, at the same time, numerous areas, inside and out, in which to gather for quiet conversation. The property is secluded and quiet. The views of the lake and the deer grazing on the hillside was a great way to start and finish each day. The poker, pool and ping-pong tables were all used and appreciated, along with the sauna and fitness room on the lower level.

We rented this beautiful home our son’s wedding week. It is a gorgeous family-friendly home with plenty of space for socializing, entertaining, and relaxing. We loved walking down to the dock and watching the sunset from the firepit as well as taking the kayaks out on the lake. The wedding party loved the party room downstairs with the pool table and ping pong table and the sauna made the stay extra special. Our hosts provided great suggestions for places to enjoy in town. The home itself feels very private and secluded but its only minutes from groceries and restaurants. If you have a big group and/or a special occassion to celebrate, this is the house you want. We only wish we had booked it for more days!

Beautiful lakefront property with a large spacious home. Definitely impressed with all the home amenities offered - including wooden stairs to lake, fire pit by lake and dock, available porches, grilling room, game room, exercise room, and two large bedrooms with large lake view visa. My family enjoyed the common meeting areas - massive living room area (looks like one part used to be a dining room?) - but also lots of areas in home for small group privacy. Outdoor yards provided enough room for young children to run around and explore. Minor disadvantage was the layout of the kitchen which limited you to one cook by the stove and sink (at a time) and the lack of space moving around the ample sized kitchen table. My family would definitely return to this home if we were visiting Menomonie again - everyone enjoyed their stay.

Our time at Menomonie was terrific. The house is extremely spacious and has fantastic views of the lake. The kids spent hours in the yard playing soccer, baseball, and volleyball. The downstairs provided more fun with the ping pong table and pool table. Everyone had their space and we had many options for entertainment. The walk down the long stairway is very safe and in great condition. It was nice to sit by a fire and enjoy a nice conversation with s’mores by the firepit. The grill room and porch was also a nice area to play some cards and have a few beverages.The fishermen in our group spent hours at our pier and on the boat. They had more success at the pier. It was a weird week for fishing with the high temps from previous weeks with the algae buildup, but the boat was still used and we did explore the lake a bit. Our group enjoyed a bit of everything at this house. There was plenty to do and the local golf club even blocked a few hours for ten of us to play a scramble with the kids. The town of Menomonie is very nice and people are very friendly. We had a great week celebrating our parents’ 50th anniversary and spending time together in a very nice home that accommodated everyone.

Our family of 14 stayed at this property for four nights. We range in age from 7 to 74. This was the perfect site for our gathering. The home is large, roomy and comfortable. When weather kept us inside, there was something for everyone to do, including pool table, ping-pong, table, workout room, arcade, multiple sitting areas with lake views, game table and screened in deck areas. When we could be outdoors, there was a fire ring, ample firewood, volleyball, net and trampoline. We put all to good use! We rented a pontoon from a local marina, which allowed us to cruise around the lake. Sunsets over the lake were gorgeous! I do think it would be helpful for people to know that there are 82 steps down to the lake. While we handled this well, some people could find it a challenge. Our stay was in July, and the lake was filled with algae which prevented swimming. However, fishing off the pontoon and Sunset cruises were a huge success. The owner was very helpful, promptly returned all of my inquiries and provided helpful information. We would definitely choose this property again in the future.

This was an amazing house and property. The views were beautiful and the house was so spacious. Exactly what we were looking for. This was my first time using vrbo so what was posted on the website is what I expected. The only thing I was nervous about was the response time. Website stated you should get a response from the host within 48 hours but responses took days longer than that. There was always a response though and everything was fine. The people that stayed with me loved this place and were looking into booking this house for future.

This is an amazing property and a great stay. I always try to leave something to be improved on however: There is a small hornet/wasp nest somewhere under the stairs down to the lake, near the shed. Several people were stung. But it was not a constant problem so the nest must be small, but probably worth removing. Also, there was not enough toilet paper (at least that we could find) to cover all bathrooms so we had to buy some. But like I said overall very very nice and would definitely rent again.

Everything was great!! The only "weird" part was the neighbor coming over a couple times. He was friendly and all; it was just odd and very random.Other than that, everything was great!
