Your cozy getaway awaits in McCarr, Ky at this marvelous cabin. Only 1/8 mile from Devil Anse trailhead and the town of Matewan, Wv. Private, 2 bedroom cabin, including a queen bed, full bed, bunk bed, and twin bed, there's plenty of space for guests to relax. We sleep
up to six.
Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, central heat/air, battery powered wash station, on-site washer and dryer, big fire pit with lots of outdoor seating. Private dock on the Tug River for your enjoyment. Fish, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Tug river when not riding the trails, during your stay. The bathroom features a full shower, plenty of towels, toilet paper and hair dryer, while the living room offers a comfy futon for additional sleeping space, with a 42 inch smart tv.
Microwave, electric skillet, crock pit, coffee pot, silverware, dishes, pots and pans and grilling utensils are all available for your use. Propane grill and picnic table for cooking out.
We are pet friendly! Located on two acres of property, we have plenty of room for your fur babies. We just ask if they are not with you, that they are crated.
Huge 45’ by 95’ graveled lighted driveway to park your vehicles and trailers. No trailering anywhere! Once you are here, park and ride!
Within 500 feet of restaurants, gas, groceries, bar and grill, mini mall, airboat rides, Mine Wars Museum and much more!

Sheila and Danny made our stay perfect! We spent 3 nights at their place and it was very cozy, clean and convenient to where we wanted to be! Less than a a quarter mile from Devil Anse trailhead. It was great for our dog, plenty of room to walk her. There was a cute fire pit and back porch. All around it was a wonderful stay, 10/10!!!

Simply amazing!
We truly felt like we were at home, from the second we walked in. Danny and Sheila are wonderful people. We had everything we needed and more. Sheila, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and you have thought every single detail out. I will never stay anywhere else when I come home. I slept like a baby and the cabin is very peaceful. Maybe next time, we will be able to fish longer and not get rained out. We will be referring your cabin to all of our friends and family. May God bless you both!

Looking for a great place to stay with quick access to the Hatfield and McCoy Trails? You will not find a better place to stay. Everything was very clean, well kept, and extremely accommodating for our dogs. It is also very close to a gas station, grocery store, and a great hometown restaurant.
