We can't say enough good things about our stay! The property is beautiful, the cabin comfy and welcoming It is completely rural while still being convenient to many of the area's attractions. The cabin itself is well-appointed with new appliances, comfy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. Interesting books and games available, too.We enjoyed using the fire pit one evening (after checking the fire-danger posting) and also the outdoor grill. Coming home to the cabin after a day of sightseeing was something we looked forward to. Thank you, Jacqueline, for one of the highlights of our trip.

Simply amazing cabin tucked away in the woods! The whole family loved the cabin's bedrooms and cozy feel.We saw humming birds every morning of the stay, several other birds chirping & owls hooting. Also a fox & deers on the way to the cabin!Our host Jacqueline was tremendous with quick responses and great suggestions!

Beautiful setting in the woods. Cabin super comfortable and Jacqueline was so friendly and helpful during our planning. Really enjoyed the fire pits and being in nature.

We just rented this beautiful home for 5 nights. I would describe it as an awesome rustic build while being furnished with a very nice modern ( high end stove, fridge and gorgeous farm sink) .This house was extremely neat, clean and included kitchen essentials ( salt, coffee, seasoning’s etc).It also had beautiful thick bath towels to go with a claw foot tub!! I would love to have this house for myself ( loved the loft )-definitely would love to go back. Thank you for a nice quiet and peaceful stay :)

What a fantastic place to get away and lose yourself. Nature everywhere and so many windows to see all of its beauty. As for the cabin, it's eclectic collection of knick knacks and warm decor of true Maine woods made it all feel like home. Our host was very responsive which made it so very simple and it was very clean! In regards to tranquility, every morning I would sit on the porch and the only sound to be heard were the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves in the trees. You can cook in the cabin or you can drive the scenic routes to go out to eat, we ate in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. There is a grocery store / gas station not too far away. Thank you for a much needed reprieve!

The perfect cabin for a Maine getaway. We cannot give enough stars or say enough good things about this property. Awesome cabin, great setting, clean, well maintained, cozy and a great host with wonderful communication. From the moment we stepped in we knew we had chosen the right place for our stay, and we were sad to turn the key and leave. Thank you for a perfect piece to our trip to Maine. We hope to be back at your cabin again some day!

We loved this cabin! It was easy to get to surrounding towns, hikes and Acadia from this here. We enjoyed coming back from long days out and about to make dinner and roast s’mores. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We also enjoyed watching World Cup games on the large tv. The many windows and high ceilings make the space feel light, airy, and part of the landscape. A beautiful place- we would come back in a heartbeat.
