We loved the Pine Cone cabin. There was a multitude of games, outdoor water activities available. Loved the set-up, swam, sat in the sun on the dock, explored Acadia and had some great meals out. Paul and Lucy couldn’t have been kinder, even leaving molasses cookies on check in. Would love a repeat next year will check the schedule

We loved our time at Pine Cone Cabin, Lucy and Paul were very attentive and answered all our questions about the area! An easy drive to Acadia where we enjoyed many hikes. The lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. Lots of little islands to kayak around, it felt like we were the only ones on the water most of the time.

Wonderful relaxing cabin right on the lake with great hosts! We had a wonderful stay with our two kids and dog. This cabin has absolutely everything you will need and was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and has plenty of bath and beach towels, fans or portable heaters and even dog bowls. Extremely dog friendly our dog may have had the best time of all! What a beautiful lake and property.

Clean space and lots of room on main floor (added a queen air mattress we brought and still plenty of room). Well stocked kitchen for cooking and loved having a Keurig! Easy to do day trips into Acadia. Hosts were very attentive and communicative. Peaceful, quiet, & magical spot! We would return.

Amazing time - it’s quite far down a dirt road so really nice and away from town. Enjoyable time and really liked the cabin.

Great Cabin

The lake was beautiful and great location not far from Acadia. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Best trip

We have stayed on a lake in Maine several other times but this place was our absolute favorite! The lake was just beautiful. The fire pit and kayaks were a perfect addition. This place had everything we needed and more!

Pine Cone Cabin is a very relaxing place to stay. Located off the main road it is extremely quiet. We had fun kayaking on the lake and seeing the deer a couple of times when we were going out. The Cabin had everything we needed. Lucy and Paul were great hosts!!

Perfect Fall getaway

We had the best time. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. The lake was pristine and we loved seeing the loons. Didn't want to leave!

Great week at the lake

Very homey cabin, with a sweet little beach on the lake, with fun kayaks and paddleboards to use. The owners are very helpful and responsive.

Great Fun

Was a nice time at this property. The lake is a short walk through the woods so that was nice. The kayaks were fun too. Having the owners next door was nice as well in case we needed anything. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful location and very private.

Wonderful stay on a beautiful lake

Pine Cone Cabin was clean and cozy, and the secluded location overlooking Green Lake is amazing. Owners Lucy and Paul were great hosts and very responsive. We enjoyed the fireplace, canoe, paddle board, swim raft and taking our dog for walks in the woods. Downtown Ellsworth is about 20 min. away and Bar Harbor and Acadia NP is about 50 min. and both were fun to visit. We loved our stay at Pine Cone Cabin!

Tranquility

Everything about Lakeside Pine Cone Cabin was perfection! Thank you for hosting us! Playing games by the fireplace was a highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the secluded location. The cabin gave us the opportunity to experience a whole other level of Maine’s beauty!

Week on the lake

Wonderful! Clean and adorable cabin, great bedding, WiFi, games and movies. Gorgeous lake with a canoe, kayaks, a paddle board and a pedal boat. Stream nearby for fly fishing. Lovely and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Lovely lakeside home

Pine cone cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. Lucy and Paul were so accommodating. The cabin is well appointed with a cozy feel and fireplace to sit by after a day kayaking on the lake. Watching sunsets and making memories with our family that will last a lifetime. We look forward to returning.

Great lakeside getaway

Great cabin with your own private beach area and dock Out favorite part was the lakeside fire pit.. it was so relaxing to enjoy fires at night while watching the lake Very clean lake but super rocky We had a blast swimming, fishing and kayaking Owners very attentive to needs but also allowed privacy Short walk to beach area (uneven ground) may be tricky for some but we all had no issues

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed at Pine Cone Cabin last summer for two weeks in August. The cabin itself was fantastic as was the lake. Crystal clear water to swim in but most of all, the loons to sing you to sleep at night...the most beautiful sound. We loved sitting on the dock at night to watch the shooting stars. I don't think we could have had a better Maine experience. Can't wait to come back!!!!!!!!

Thank you Julie. Paul and I would love to have your family come back to Pine Cone. It has been such a warm Spring and Summer, Green lake is just the right temperature for a refreshing dip. It was 64* at 7:00 this morning and it's going to be a great beach day in the lower 80's. August 28th through closing is still availible. Come on up! Thanks again for the great review. Wonderful

Pine Cone Cabin was a perfectly peaceful getaway. It was well stocked with everything we could need or want. We enjoyed the wildlife and seclusion from everyday life, but it was also close enough to restaurants and shopping when we wanted to go out. Paul and Lucy, you were wonderful hosts! Thank you very much for the kind words of our Pine Cone Cabin. You made my 5 list for leaving it in great shape. It is usually very quiet in our cove, perfect for hearing and seeing nature. Please return to Pine Cone Cabin anytime. We still have a couple of great weeks left in September. Then there are fewer tourists and mosquitoes and the water is still nice for swimming. Best place to stay

Pine Cone Cabin was awesome, we stayed for 2 weeks last year in July and we couldn't have picked a greater place or greater host and hostess. Lucy and her husband are wonderful people and they make you feel right at home fom the second you arrive. The cabin is great, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We are coming back again this year.

A Wonderful Week At Pine Cone Cabin

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Pine Cone Cabin on the lake.The cabin was very clean and the aroma of pine greeted us upon arrival. During the days, we made use of the canoe and kayak, sailing around the scenic cove observing loons and other wildlife. During the chilly evenings, we had a blazing fire in the fireplace while listening to the call of the loons. The cabin was well stocked with all of the amenities. The hosts were friendly and helpful but we always had our privacy. We’ve already booked our stay here for next year! Thank you, Lucy and Paul, for sharing this little piece of heaven with us.

Peaceful

My family had the opportunity to spend one week at Pine Cone Cabin and it was, hands down, the best vacation we've had. Lucy and Paul are amazing hosts who thought of everything. While we had plans to explore the area before we arrive we soon realized that all we wanted was at the cabin so we hardly left. We went for lovely trail runs on the camp roads, swam, fished, kayaked, canoed, rested on the beach, and hand campfires. My two young sons (5 & 8) got along all week with very minimal bickering - any place that can foster that behavior truly deserves awards! We are very much looking forward to our stay next year.

Thanks so much for the high praise. Paul and I enjoyed meeting your family. The boys had a good chance to test their swimming and rowing skills. Maybe next year you might try your hand at sailing the Sunfish. After all their play I bet it didn't take them long to fall asleep nights.
