This was a great property… The only suggestion I would have is to have more wine in the back of them if you want us to park in the back coming in at nine. Other than that great place for our family we enjoyed it very much.

Location was convenient for Aledo/Willow Park access. Worked great and slept 7 of us easily.

The Prospector is a beautiful home, roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to use, ample room to make and serve dishes for our family and to provide a bit of extra room and seating for meals. I appreciated the quantity of dishes and silverware as well as pots and pans, we found many Tfal in good condition. I loved the Keurig unit and the supply and variety of pods on the kitchen counter - what a great treat to wake up to. The beds and linens were very comfortable, There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers - 3 full bathrooms was great. The upstairs game room was awesome! Our family also really enjoyed the foosball table on the back porch and the hot tub on the deck. There were several nice conversation nooks like the chairs by the front window and the rockers on the front porch. The only issue of note was that the spin cycle on the washer was not working when we arrived. There were loads of towels in both the washer and the dryer. We wrung them out as best we could and draped them over the railings around the back deck. The washer was fixed by Wednesday, which was our last full day there. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to those who are looking for a nice, out-of-the-way spot to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

Nice Getaway

We are experts in STRs in the Fort Worth area since we visit our children there once or twice a month. This property caught our eye since it was near Walsh where our kids are. The property is great, clean and spacious. The things we liked included the layout of the house, the hot tub, and the secluded farm like property. Our only complaints about this rental would be the hot tub is an extra fee to use- you don't see this when you book or in the main description. You have to click and expand all amenities to see this note. Also the fridge ice maker and water dispenser didn't work so we had no ice. Finally, the kitchen is sparse compared to other rentals. If you plan to cook and grill as we did, bring everything you need this kitchen has the very basics. Lastly, we usually don't choose a property with a check out at 10 AM but we're glad we gave this one a try. We had a great weekend of relaxing, spa time, and foosball with our kids.

Aledo property Log House

Very pretty log house . Nice sofas and large dinning table with lots of chairs. Large kitchen. However it really needs to be updated. Dishwasher has problems, microwave is very small almost toy like. Sink is very old and has no garbage disposal. Lots of essentials for basic cooking are missing from the kitchen. No drip coffee machine, had to go buy one. Beds are not comfortable. The towels did not smell good, we had to go buy detergent and wash them in order to use them, and there are not enough towels. Bathrooms are okay. There are 3 full bathrooms. It started to rain heavily when we stayed and it was not a very nice feeling to noticed water leaking in the inside of the fireplace and a container that had been placed there previously, was catching the water. Felt like you're in a run down property. Not cozy. Would not book it again. We Appreciated the co-host. Responsive lady. Thank you.

It’s rustic and old. The pictures look WAY nicer than it is. The beds definitely need to be replaced ..very uncomfortable only a couple towels for 6 people …( so you need to bring your own towels) some of the lights are not wired correctly.We would not stay here again.

Easy location, comfy beds, great air conditioning. When we arrive, there were still dirty dishes in the dishwasher and the towels were still in the dryer. It needs a deep clean, but these are all easy fixes and hopefully was just a miss the one time. Great location, tons of parking.
