Nice great location to where my brothers house was 5 mins away. It was for my mom's 80th birthday party Any questions I had they would text me back super fast.

Property was good. Upon arrival we had an issue with the digital lock, check-in time was 3pm, but lock didn't work until 4pm. Owners were not sure what happened but after that it worked well.Nice area and worked well for my extended family.

Thanks for staying. The lock required a firmware update that just happened to publish that day. We have downloaded the update to prevent future occurrences. We also appreciate the feedback provided that We can use for improvements.

Kim & Kendrick were very responsive to my messages. Even on the 4th of July when I sent a message regarding check out instructions they responded quickly. The air conditioner was not working properly during a lot of our stay but they had someone bring in a portable unit to try to ensure the house didn't get too hot in 100 weather. We all enjoyed the pool table, it got use every day during our stay. The beds were all comfortable and the closets were nice so we didn't have to leave our suitcases out in the floor. Buckroe Beach & Park is around a 20 minute drive from the house and Virginia Beach is around 50 minutes away. We visited both during our stay. There were fireworks coming from all around on the 4th of July and while some may not like it, my kids, especially my plane and helicopter obsessed toddler, loved watching the planes and jets fly over. We had 8 people staying in the house during our stay and we were never crowded. My only issue was that i wish we had known about the cars in the driveway before booking. 8 people for 8 nights was a lot of luggage to get from the street and very end of the driveway but we made due. Thank you Kim & Kandrick for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and for being so attentive and informative when we had questions.

Yea the kitchen was fully equipped, Rooms were clean and very basic. Wish the living space had a bigger tv. The master bath was great. Loved the tub. The walk way could be made a little wider to accommodate anyone on a wheel chair or with difficulty walking on the uneven grass. Overal I enjoyed the space. I enjoyed the card and cookies left for us made a great fist impression. Loved the playground and the fact of an enclosed back yard.

Came to visit son whose in the Navy, stay was great nice area and shopping lots to do home was very and comfortable felt like being in your own home. Communication with own was great.

Super nice and made our weekend

I loved this property and so did my partner. I would say that the master bedroom was so nice and but the shower was very confusing. I didn’t recognize it in the pictures but they had a pool table and my partner and I are avid pool players! I absolutely loved the property and the owners were great communicators! We really enjoyed our stay here!

:The home was not adequately stocked with essential supplies. There was an insufficient amount of toilet paper and paper towels, and no garbage bags were provided.The back bedrooms had no functioning air conditioning, making those rooms extremely uncomfortable and unusable at times. Thermostat would read 80 degrees at night. My wife and I are senior citizens and these raised safety concerns about safe sleep environment.No instructions were provided for operating the televisions, leaving guests to troubleshoot basic amenities on their own.The lawn had not been maintained, and the overgrown grass gave the property an unkempt appearance that did not reflect the listing.Most concerning, cars and trailers were parked in the driveway, restricting access to the property and making it unnecessarily difficult to unload our luggage upon arrival and posed fall risks.These were not isolated inconveniences but multiple deficiencies that, collectively, resulted in a rental that did not meet the quality represented in the listing or the standards I expect from an Vrbo property. As paying guests, we should not have had to deal with a lack of basic household necessities, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, or obstructed access to the home.

Because of the heat wave we added an extra AC unit that has been proven very useful. Each room has a ceiling fan and there are three additional portable floor fans. There was a full box of trash bags under the sink for use. There also remains an unopened roll of paper towels in the event the two in use are emptied. We leave 3 sets of towels in each of the three bedrooms. There is also some laundry detergent and fabric softner to wash and reuse. On the check in instruictions shared with all guest are instructions on using all appliances. We recognize as per conversation a need to post these outside of the provided check in instructions. This is the only time a guest made such a comment. We will attempt to adjust respectively using the comments provided.

Everything was fine, they are in the process of a remodel, the updates are looking good. OnlyIssue is the ac wasn’t strong enough to keep it cool

Know stars they stole my money. I arrive at property it look nothing like pictures. Broken down cars in driveway and a tracker so you can’t use driveway have to squeeze pass to get to door. Grass was up to my knees, tires in back of house they have a swing set kids can’t get to it grass to high broken chair in back of house. Screen door finger prints everywhere living room furniture dirty need to be cleaned floors faded different colors. Dishwasher bottom broke off, laundry door broke and laying across doorway doors in bedrooms swing back and forward bathroom toilet old and nasty bathtub peeling and dirty. Owner was called and he say he will get somebody to cut grass what about these other issues he say I live their so he rent this dirty home out while he’s gone just go get money this house should not even be Vrbo standard don’t rent will be very dis appointment

Terrible experience.

Communication with the property owners was great from the start—they were responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early after our 21-hour drive from Nebraska, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience quickly declined after arrival.When we pulled up, we were greeted by two cars already parked in the driveway, leaving no room for our own vehicle. To get to the front door, we had to either walk through the grass or squeeze uncomfortably between the house and the parked cars, brushing up against dirty vehicles—not an ideal first impression.Entry to the home was easy, as described, but once inside, we immediately noticed issues. A broken pantry door was propped up against the wall, and a section of tile in front of the dishwasher was cracked and loose. The house was also uncomfortably hot. We attempted to adjust the thermostat (which we set to 65F), but after several hours during an extreme heat warning, the temperature remained at 79F with barely any airflow from the vents. It was clear the air conditioning was not functioning properly.We tried to make the best of the situation, deciding to freshen up and grab food. However, while searching for towels, my children found a tube of used KY jelly in one of the bathrooms—completely inappropriate and unsanitary. While plugging in a fan, my son also noticed several dead bugs by the outlet.At this point, it became clear that “making the best of it” wasn’t going to work. We reached out to the

Stayed 3 nights. Property was relatively clean considering it is lived in full time when not rented out. Easy access except for the 2 cars in the driveway. If you are going to rent out your home make the driveway accessible. Classic car with flat tires needs to be moved and if other car is owners park it on the street instead of asking your paying guests to do so. Kitchen was well stocked. AC unit does not cool bedrooms, a definite negative to rental. Not even sure the master has air coming out of the vent. Description of property is misleading- this is an older home, occupied when not rented with older upgrades and cars in the driveway. Shower in master bath is complicated and needs instructions to operate. Beds are comfortable. Bedroom furnishing are sparse which is okay except for the lack of headboard in front right which has a stain on wall at head of bed and also ceiling fan only works when light is on in that room as well. Home could use a whole interior fresh paint job too. Neighborhood felt safe. As a last minute rental during a busy time it will make do but probably would not chose to rent again.
