Welcome to Selah House

This beautifully decorated mid-century modern home, fully equipped for your family’s beach stay, offers unparalleled comfort and style. The home features two upstairs king en suites with private deck access (one includes a sofa bed for one), two queen bedrooms, and a media room with a couch that converts to a full-size bed. Enjoy ocean views from the upper and lower decks, perfect for family relaxation, and a backyard ideal for kids and pets. The home includes a fully stocked kitchen, high-quality linens, and all necessary toiletries for a seamless stay.

The Space

Designed with hospitality in mind, this mid-century modern home ensures your comfort and enjoyment. The fully equipped kitchen includes all essentials for preparing meals. The bedrooms feature premium mattresses, pillows, and 100% cotton linens for restful sleep, while the bathrooms are stocked with all necessary toiletries and towels. Relax on the upper or lower decks to watch sunsets or crashing waves, or fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean through the master king en suite’s sliding glass door—a truly unique experience.

Treats: Coffee and creamer are provided for all reservations. It was a nice stay

The downstairs heater is a bit confusing. There was still laundry in the washer/dryer(I feel like with a check in time of 5pm, they have plenty of time to get it done). There was some miscommunication with how to get in the house (I'm glad I asked before arrival). The instruction paper in the house had the wrong wifi password on it and someone's contact number that doesn't work for the host any more.There are two sets of washer/dryers which would be nice if you have a big group of people. The house is clean and in a quiet neighborhood.

Not what it seems

Overgrown yard, brown grass in back, not like photos. No heat in main living room. 52 degrees out it was cold. Mngmt admitted they knew it was out, had put a call in week prior, evidently didn’t follow up. They substituted w/ Space heaters. All of the pans were dirty with left over stains or whatever was on them. Again admitted they were needing to replace those as well. Let’s see, upstairs bedroom on ocean side, the carpet was worn to the pad and could see the pad. AGAIN they said the carpet replacement was coming in Sept. The bathroom for that room had holes and/or rotted paint from leakage of the shower. No fixture covers on lights as well. The shower soap bottle was empty They told me I should have let them know. I think they should have already known if the cleaners are doing their job. The tv in that room useless, unless you know how to work yahootv. Downstairs tv had no remotes for Roku tv,which they did replace. The bathroom downstairs sink would not drain, the drain pull was broken. They also told me that if we left our “left over” food in refrigerator that would be taken into consideration for deposit.. really? We were to receive 1 bottle of wine per day for reservations over 350 p/day. I had to ask for it & received one. There was a partial smoked cigarette on the banister going into the house. My final straw was waking up to to a man on a bike going thru trash cans of the neighbors & retrieving cans.
