Perfect Family Vacation Getaway!!
The Sandcastle is the perfect way to spend your vacation with family or friends.
Our home was created for large and small groups alike. Upstairs, we have four large bedrooms, all with private baths and their own Smart TV. We also have a separate living space on the ground floor (accessed from the outside) with another bedroom/bathroom with two double beds, a large game room with two queen-size sleeper sofas, large Smart TV, Foosball, a card table, games, a locker room style bathroom/shower and a ping pong table.
We are one of the few screened-in porches on the island and you will fall instantly in love with rocking in the chairs while taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean that have made Holden Beach one of the most popular family beaches around.
We know how much we love having our furry friends with us on our vacation so we want you to have yours, too. Our home is pet-friendly and they love lounging around on the back porch, too. For larger families or groups, consider renting two homes. We have a wonderful house next door to this one... 'Byrds Eye View' (VRBO # 4587897).
We have stocked our home to help you forget about the busy life and fall in love with kicking off your shoes and getting back in touch with fun and relaxation. Boogie boards and sand toys are here for the kids (ok, the adults too) and we even have a library of family friendly DVDs for the movie watchers. We love our beach house and we think you will too.

House was a perfect fit for our family and the ocean views were beautiful. Kitchen had everything you could possibly use and the back porch was fabulous. Our host was very attentive to our questions throughout the entire process and our stay.

Lovely porch and well stocked kitchen. The house was very nostalgic as I grew up going to one very similar! Host was very helpful and we had no issues while there!

The house was perfect for our family, in every way. We spent part of each day rocking and relaxing on the screened porch.The grandchildren loved running up and down the path to the ocean.We were blessed!

Holden Beach never disappoints and neither did a single thing with the beautiful Sand Castle. It was a perfect place for our family with the beach so close and the full ocean view from the main room and bedrooms. All beds and furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved staying here and hope to again very soon!

Sandcastle is the best!!! It takes dogs which is terrific. It has a screen porch with lots of rockers and great view of the ocean! Kitchen has all you need. And LOTS of room! Bedrooms have own bath rooms and there are several to choose from up and down. Location is close to restaurants, grocery and sight seeing. Would highly recommend especially if you have fur babies.

Great rental for family
Enjoyed our stay. Rental was nice, bathrooms could use a little updating but overall, great stay.

We spent a week here in April 2022 and loved it. The house is clean with everything you need and in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The location was perfect, with beautiful views and everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing family vacation. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for everyone.While the house is an older beach home and does show some normal wear and tear, that did not take away from our stay at all. We were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our time there. It had a welcoming, lived-in beach-house feel that worked perfectly for our family vacation.One of our favorite features was the extra-large kitchen table with the built-in rotating turntable (lazy Susan). It was perfect for family game nights and gave us plenty of room to enjoy a seafood boil together. We also loved the extra space in the downstairs game room, which gave the younger adults their own area to hang out and enjoy.The screened-in porch and rocking chairs were another added bonus. It was such a nice place to sit, relax, and take in the beautiful views.Our host was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We did have a small issue during our stay that required us to reach out, and she responded right away and had someone sent over promptly to take care of it.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the space, location, views, and amenities this home offered. It was a great place for our family vacation!

Family vacation
Great property. Location and amenities are hard to beat. Located on the end of the island that isn’t busy and really a great trip.

Annual Family Vacation
We absolutely LOVED our time at Sandcastle. It was so perfect for our family. There was lots of room to spread out and we really appreciated being able to bring our furry friends.

Holden Beach
This was a very spacious cottage with easy access to the beach. The cottage was just right for our family of 6 adults and 3 children.

This home is a gem on the beach. We stayed with 10 people and 3 dogs over the christmas week. The bathroom for each room, the huge table and room for all of to mingle, play games and watch TV when we were not out in the back deck or on the beach was perfect. Is this house a brand new home, no, but there is something to be said about not having to worry about every little thing you do or touch. This was a comfortable and relaxing vacation home away from home. We would stay again!

Holden Beach 2023
Great property!!! We have stayed at a few other houses over the year's and this is far and above the best. It has everything we needed for a wonderful week.

Nice Vacation
This place was a nice house, close to the beach for me and my family. It was pricey to add my pets but was happy I could bring them. Overall an enjoyable vacation.

Perfect in every way
We had an amazing vacation in this home. It is comfortable and spacious with a gorgeous beach view. We have visited many beach rentals over the course of time and this beach house is by far the best!
