This property is a 2 minute walk to the Lake, for some reason VRBO is saying 18 minutes and can’t fix the problem.

Nestled in the Green Mountains in the Lake Region of Vermont, our charming 3 bedroom, cottage is the perfect haven for your next family/friend retreat. Boasting all the amenities you may need, it offers a delightful escape into the tranquility of lakeside living.

Conveniently located for fun and recreation, you'll enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking or lounging. There are hiking trails and many local attractions such as the Hubbardton Battlefield and the Taconic Mountains Ramble State Park. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds and the 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower, kitchen and living room. There is a mini split for heat or air to keep you comfortable no matter the season and you can stay connected with high-speed fiber optic internet featuring 500 mbs of download and upload speed. Enjoy the outdoor grill for a barbecue while everyone lounges on the back deck or front screened in porch. After a full day of adventure, gather around the fire pit for s'mores under the stars and clear beautiful skies.

At the beach enjoy the boat house deck to play games, eat or catch up on that book you have been wanting to dive into. For your enjoyment you will have access to kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. You are sure to see our family of eagles soaring over the water and swooping down to catch fish for their young.

There are numerous area attractions, restaurants, breweries, and wineries as well as horseback riding and great shopping and antiquing in neighboring towns and a scenic drive to Burlington and Woodstock. This location is truly an escape and works perfectly for a couples retreat, ladies night, guys getaway, outdoor lovers, leaf peeping, remote work, family getaways. Whatever type of retreat you are searching for, our location is a prime spot to accomplish it all.

Great location, comfortable place to stay. lovely deck facing the woods and lake. Excellent wifi and cell service which is unusual for being this remote.

We had a wonderful stay at Todd & Rene’s place. They were great and attentive hosts and couldn’t ask for anything more. Very quiet and comfortable cottage. The beach area is fantastic with every amenity you could ask for….. kayaks, canoes, floats and comfortable chairs. The eagles were incredible as well as the loons. Will come and stay again for sure!

I just returned from a five night stay. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The property is in an awesome location. The house and outside sitting areas are quiet and private. The lake was perfect. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating. Our group has already been discussing returning to the same location next year.

This property is a hidden gem! We loved the cottage, plus the boathouse area and dock. The lake was very quiet with just a few boats during the day. The family of eagles was a special sight!We appreciated the golf cart to take items back and forth from the lake, and made good use of the paddle board and inflatables. The lawn area was also very nice for playing frisbee.The grill at the cottage was very clean and worked well. We enjoyed meals on the back deck, and saw lots of hummingbirds at the feeder near the front screened porch.Everything was super clean when we arrived. The cottage was well stocked and there wasn’t a single thing we needed that they didn’t have. We were definitely impressed with the attention to details!Overall this was the perfect place for our vacation. The listing is accurate and the hosts are very welcoming and generous.We plan on returning, hopefully soon!

Very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating and provided great extras… golf cart to get ro the watwr front, kayaks, and paddle boards.
