We absolutely loved the cabin and the property.The cabin is specious and having a fenced in yard was perfect for our dog.A beautiful private waterfront was so nice with an amazing view.Cabin was well equipped with anything you would need.Looking forward to our next visit !! Thank you Brian& Polly!

Cute cabin with everything we needed. If you have trouble with steps, the stairs to bedrooms are very steep.

Lovely cabin by the lake. Host provides plenty of bedding, towels and kitchenware. Short walk gets you to the dock where you can enjoy the crystal clear water. Neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. You are not right on the lake but can see the water from the cabin. Nice fenced in yard for kids or dog. Only negative we had was the bed was not comfortable for my husband and I. Otherwise, cabin is what you would expect for a property that is 100 years old.

You can tell that the hosts stay here. The knives are sharp ! The kitchen has everything you need including spices.

The cabin was wonderful. It was exactly what we had in mind. It was quiet, and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the screened in porch.

Absolutely fantastic property. The camp location was everything I had hoped for and was equipped with everything I needed to cook with as far as the kitchen goes, cozy but actually large living room, the screened in porch was my favorite spot to read. Lake access was private and simply beautiful. I have already booked for next year's stay.

Wonderful stay!

Lovely property - we had a dog and the property is well fenced so we could just let her out to explore - which was good because sadly it rained a lot while we were there. We made the best of it and explored the area - lovely place to "come home to" every day!

Third Stay & Always a Great Time

My partner, dogs, and I just got home from our third vacation at this cabin on Lake Dunmore. We always feel welcome and right at home, love the cozy cabin vibes, and spending as much time at the lake or hanging out on the porch to take in the Green Mountains. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Fantastic getaway

Visiting family in Vermont, very charming place to stay, quaint, quiet, fun in the lake, grandkids visited, great cookout, although the steps to the one bedroom were challenging for my handicapped wife, never thought a futon would be so comfortable, especially for me, at 6’2”, 260 lbs, it was great, we had loads of fun, short trips to restaurants, and another visit to Tom and Jerry’s, thanks so much, it was awesome, will be back!

best screened porch, top kitchen, best lake view from dock

porch and dining room, and all downstairs, really, can be all open windows so you are getting all the air; kitchen is really good for cooking and fully equipped; swim out to the floating dock and get the best view of the lake. Thanks!

Such a great time!

We had an amazing time at Lake Dunmore - the house was excellent for our 5 year old and 8 month old and our dog really loved the fenced in back yard. We loved it!

Just a really comfortable place. You can hang out at the dining table or front porch, classic. The view from the actual floating dock is one of the best on the lake.
