We stayed at this beautiful property for a ladies long weekend away. The property is located in a beautiful neighborhood that was great for walking. Location was perfect for us to visit surrounding towns. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely love to go back!

Our recent stay was comfortable, and extremely relaxing. The view of the ocean, clean rooms and comfortable beds, not to mention plenty of spaces for three generations of our family to visit, were all that we had hoped for. In addition, a first floor bedroom and bathroom and only two steps for access through the back door from the drive way was extremely helpful for our family members who could not climb stairs very easily. The host was gracious, and easily reached for any questions. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to return again someday for another vacation!

We were so happy with the house and the neighborhood!We've been coming to York Harbor for a long time and this was by far the best property. It is close to Hannnefords Market for groceries and a pleasant and short walk to York Harbor beach.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

Very spacious home in a great location between York Harbor Beach and Long Sands Beach. Plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was beautiful and spacious. Everyone fell in love with Maine! The location was wonderful, you could see the ocean from various rooms in the house. The area was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely love to come back with the family!

Great House for Family Vacation

The property was excellent for Us, our kids and grandchildren. Plenty of space. Front and back porch are great gathering places

This is a beautiful house and definitely worth staying in. Great communication from the host before, during and after the stay with fast responses to any questions we had about the property. The pictures in the post are accurate and the feel of the property is open and flowing throughout. Kitchen, dining and living area were great for our family and we could all participate together in cooking, eathing and social activities. The enclosed back porch is very comfortable...we played games together in the large space...very comfortable. We sat out front in the seating (and there is a lot of seating out front) and enjoyed the view of the water, woods and surrounding neighborhood. Neighbors were very friendly and the neighborhood is very comfortable and safe during both day and night times. Beds were all comfortable. The downstairs master bedroom was separated from the bedrooms upstairs which was nice and the upstairs provides a loft that the upstairs guests can sit in to socialize. Easy walk to the beach from the property and on beach crowded days that was really nice. We highly recommend and will stay at this property again when our travels take us back to Maine.

Great location. My sisters and I had a wonderful time. Quiet street away from the commotion, but a quick drive to the beach. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for privacy. Great communication. Would stay here again.

Girlfriends’ Weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pete’s Place in York, Maine! The spacious layout of this five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom house was perfect for our group, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The open floor plan made the space feel even larger, and we loved how it flowed seamlessly from the living areas to the dining and kitchen spaces. The kitchen, in particular, was a highlight—modern, well-equipped, and a joy to cook in! With ample counter space and a large island, it was perfect for preparing meals together. The well-lit design, with large windows and thoughtfully placed lighting, made every room feel bright and welcoming throughout the day. Each of the bedrooms was comfortable and well-appointed, providing plenty of privacy when needed. The multiple bathrooms meant no one ever had to wait long, even with a full house. We also appreciated the tasteful décor and how immaculately clean the home was upon arrival. Overall, this vacation rental exceeded our expectations and made our time in York truly special. Whether we were lounging in the common areas or enjoying meals together, the home felt both luxurious and homey. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and inviting place to stay on the beautiful Maine coast!

We had a family reunion at this property. The accommodations were OUTSTANDING. All of our guests were amazed with the house: very clean, alot of amenities, and easy check-in and check-out. The location provided easy access to the beaches, restaurants, and up-and-down the Maine coast as well as Portsmouth, NH. We would all highly recommend this property to folks who are looking for a relaxing stay on the south Maine coast. The hosts were wonderful.
