A nice cabin with great amenities. We appreciated the items available that are hard to travel with: bug spray, sunscreen, containers to use for packing lunches, and laundry detergent to wash dirty clothes from all our adventures.It was a nice place to "come home" to after our long days, and truly felt like "Grandma's" (as we all referred to it as that).

The grounds on the property were not kept up so kids could not really play outside unless they wanted to be covered in stickers. House seemed pretty clean, we did see a few mice as well as quite a bit of droppings around the house. We have littles so this was not ideal and we ended up cancelling within a few hours. The host was more than understanding and allowed us to cancel with a full refund. The views were beautiful just not the place for us.

We had a great stay at this property. Remote location. Needs a car but commutable to local sites around yoesmite. House had everything we needed. We cooked and ate there for 3 days and traveled lots. A great family home location. Had every thing you could need. Thank you for hosting us all.

Very cozy little cabin. Definitely a cabin so no dishwasher and only one bathroom on the property. The place has a cool vibe, clearly a lengthy, storied history (guestbook dates back to the 70s!) Host was responsive and helpful whenever we needed. Cabin sits atop a pretty intense hill but that helps with the secluded old cabin vibe, makes getting to and from take some time but the included full kitchen and dining room meant we didn’t need to go out a ton. Nearby lake manzanita was a really cool little getaway spot we fished at a fair amount. Overall very happy with our stay and included amenities. :)

For a family of 6 adults, there was lots of space to stretch out and have our own beds. Overall, the cabin was clean, but it is definitely a cabin, with dust, cobwebs and older furniture. There is one private shower. We had a bear come visit our trash at night which was an excitement for us to experience. The kitchen is big and there is a separate wet bar, if that is your thing. There are tons of games to play. We tried one out. The owner was easy to communicate with. The lady who lives near by (who cleans the cabin) was kind and helpful too. I would consider staying there again.

It was getting late (13 hr drive for us)-The only host to ever message me to make sure we made it to the house ok. This hoise is grandmas house. When you walk in you see all grandma and grandpas treasures. So fun to walk around and look at the beautiful lady in the pic in the bathroom window. Or grandpa's Pearl Harbor Survivor plate. You can quickly figure out what kind of beer grandpa liked. From black and white wedding pictures to JC Penny pictures.A memorable stay for sure. If you the minimalist type, or very OCD about spaces-this isnt the house for you. If you like naps at grandmas house and a beer on the back porch for sunset, and feeling like your family as soon as you walk in-book it. Mountain views are fantastic. House is well stocked. Bed was comfy.We both have lost our grandparents & our parents. If an extra grand daughter needed- I'm available for adoption anytime.
