With 2 bedrooms featuring two twin beds and one full bed, 2 bathrooms with showers and hair dryers, and essential amenities like WiFi and AC, this spot is perfect for a tranquil retreat. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. Everything is less then 3 miles from loft UH, Medical Center, NRG, Zoo, Baseball Stadium, Downtown, Discovery Green, Millet Outdoor , Herman Park etc

The property itself is so adorable. Just be aware that upon entering there are stair leading to the actual living space. The only negative is there were not enough small towels. Other than that everything else was great! The house was very clean and the ac was AMAZING with combating the hot Houston days. Definitely would stay again!

We can’t wait to return to this property for our future stays in Houston! We absolutely LOVED it, and it was so conveniently located that we’ve already stayed here TWICE. The fully gated yard was a standout—there’s an electronic gate on the rental side that you can open and close anytime, plus a second gate that the owner closes every night like clockwork. The sturdy metal gates made us feel instantly secure, and the whole setup adds to the welcoming, peaceful vibe.Even though this is a top-floor apartment above a garage, you’d never guess it when you arrive—everything feels calm, private, and beautifully maintained. The decorations and overall theme were clearly planned with care, creating a truly rustic Texas hideaway feel, while still offering all the modern amenities you could want. The owner was also wonderful: super helpful, easy to communicate with, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was great.We were very impressed by the beautifully designed walk-in shower in the master bedroom, and it’s clear the owners thoughtfully upgraded this space with great care and attention to detail. Overall, we can’t recommend this property enough for anyone who wants to stay near downtown or the convention center. Since we already have plans to return to the convention center several more times, we’ll absolutely be booking this place again! There’s no question - this is a FIVE out of five star apartment for our family.

Overall lovely stay. There was a bit of a hiccup in our stay but our host was very happy to accommodate us and was very understanding along the process.

Wonderful experience

First, the property is spacious and clean, cute little snacks, plenty of kitchen supplies (silverware, pans, etc) and a balcony that we sat outside with our coffee each morning. The owners were phenomenal in making our stay pleasant, quick to respond to messages and very accomodating. Will be staying again!

We were pretty disappointed with our stay. The apartment itself was super cute and it could’ve been a great experience, but it was so dirty. It didn’t seem like the place was cleaned after the last guests - aside from the linens, which did seem fresh. There were hair trimmings in the bathroom sink, a sticky substance on the bathroom floor, soggy food in the kitchen sink, dead bugs in the freezer, the microwave was so gross we decided not to use it and I could go in unfortunately. There was also no remote for the living room tv so we couldn’t watch it. Our stay was short and we were mostly only there for sleep so we didn’t ask the host to remedy the situation, but they may have done so if we would’ve asked. The host was kind and communicative, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again because cleanliness should never be an issue for a rental home/apartment :(

Red Barn Loft

This loft was absolutely perfect! With 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms we had plenty of space. It was great to be so close to the University of Houston campus, where our event took place. We were able to cook and eat in the kitchen for our meals. Only 15 minutes away from Walmart or The Fiesta market.There were great amenities and very thoughtful snacks and waters! My daughter loved the facial masks and was very comfortable in the space.The owner took care of all our needs and was easy to contact. Thanks for a great stay!
