Ariel Dunes II

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were happy with our room. The only negative I have was with the TVs in the room. The living room had a very small one and in the bedroom there was an old tube TV.

Magical Stay

Spectacular Views, but the Condo Needs Major Updating and Better

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was spectacular, and the bed was comfortable, which were the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the condo was disappointing and in need of updating.Upon entering, we noticed that the alarm was rusted inside and out. The refrigerator had stains that would not come out, and the kitchen ceiling lights had visible grease spots. The screen door was rusted, and the screen was broken. The bathroom was decent, but the television was outdated and featured VHS tape and DVD player in the master bedroom.We also called the front desk to request a broom to sweep the floors. We were told one would be brought to us, but it never arrived.Overall, the condo felt dated and needed better maintenance, more thorough cleaning, and updated appliances and furnishings. While the spectacular view and comfortable bed were definite positives, the condition of the unit and the lack of follow-through on our request affected our experience.I will be attaching pictures to document the issues we encountered. With proper cleaning, maintenance, and updates, this property has the potential to offer guests a much better experience.

We’re glad you enjoyed the view and the comfortable bed, and we’re sorry the condition of the condo didn’t meet your expectations. Your stay came just two days after Hurricane Isaias, and our staff and maintenance teams were stretched thin handling storm cleanup across the property. That’s no excuse for a request going unanswered, though, and we apologize that the broom never arrived. We’ve reviewed your photos and are addressing the items you noted, including the rust, the screen door, and a deep clean of the kitchen and refrigerator. We’re also looking at updates to the electronics and furnishings. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope you’ll give us another chance to show you the stay this unit can offer.
