Alder Cottage was lovely! It is continently located near the charming town of Trinidad with easy access to the national and state parks. We really enjoyed our stay. It was the highlight of our CA road trip.

We had a great 2 night stay with our family while on a 3 week road trip. Great views from the room and outside. Just wish there was a washer and dryer in the house.

This cozy little cottage really allowed us to relax and soak in the views of the west coast (especially from the hot tub). The house was clean, well kept and the location was super unique.

Great stay for the week. We visit the cabinet one a year. Looking foward for our next stay. Hot water pot was addressed according and service was excellent.

Gorgeous property with fantastic ocean views. Sunsets were spectacular. Cottage was well appointed with all of the amenities that we needed. Spotlessly clean. We cooked our meals mostly using the outdoor barbecue. Area where the cottage is located was so quiet and peaceful. Close enough to Trinidad for easy runs to the local market. The market has everything that you might need. Thank you.p.s. We have stayed in countless VRBO properties in and out of California and this King bed ranked up there as one of the most comfortable for a good nights rest.

Fantastic location for visiting the redwoods and other surrounding nature areas. Very cozy place for two and we loved being able to see the ocean views from so many windows. A small note that this rental is on a property with a few others. Not a big drawback, but we thought it was more secluded and didn’t expect as many neighbors. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience- would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location. Extremely well maintained and clean. We loved the yard outside and the hot tub was perfect for chilly weather. Excellent communication. The photos are great but in person is even better!

This is the first VRBO stay that I felt the place was even Nicer than the pictures posted online. The cottage was Wonderful. There was an ocean view, hot tub, and all the amenities I needed to make breakfasts in the morning. The cottage was super clean and very nicely decorated. Comfortable king bed.It was close to everything I wanted to do and see in the area.
