Cottage was just as described. In a peaceful spot a short drive away from Trinidad where we found everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you could need and the cottage was warm and cosy. The view from the seats a very short distance from the deck is stunning when the mist clears!

We enjoyed our stay at Spruce Cottage! The property was clean, stocked well with essentials, and the bed was very comfortable. The property is nice to walk around and has several places to sit overlooking the ocean. The hosts communicated well and were very pleasant to deal with! I definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The stay was amazing. The cottage was a perfect size for me, my wife, and our son. The area was peaceful and quiet. The view of the ocean and sea lions could not have been better. There was plenty of room for our son to run around. The location is perfect for doing activities in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week's stay. I definitely recommend. We might be returning in the future.

The cottage is quiet, cute, clean, well stocked, partially obstructed ocean view from inside the cottage. You could walk across the lawn and a camper to see the ocean.

We loved our stay here and were pleasantly surprised to hear sea lions (or seals?) in the morning and evening.

It’s a perfect cozy cottage with all amenities. Near to the Trinidad town and the state park. Also near to the redwood park and lagoons. Perfect spot to spend couple of nights all year.

Lovely well appointed kitchen. The outdoor grill was very nice. After the rain cleared we enjoyed the bluff side seating and outdoor dining space. Our favorite thing was sitting at the bluff, watching the sunset and the sea lions on the rocks and in the surf.

Great property for the two of us. Clean and plenty of kitchen supplies to cook a few meals during our stay. I had a few questions for the host and received a prompt reply. Would definitely book again in the future.

Comfy Cottage near the forest

Nice cottage with good views in unique location close to state and national parks. Stayed one week, had a great time. Everything worked.

The property was very nice. I really liked the beach access and hearing the ocean sound from the patio. I liked it had great amentities to cooking as well as storing food (a fridge) it had as well. Overall, the beach house was phenomenal and I would reccommend it to people.

Comfy tiny home/cabin with peek-a-boo views of the ocean with ability to walk about 100-150 yds to a gorgeous cliff-side overlook of the ocean. We had an excellent sunset during our stay in early June. The property is north of Trinidad, which got us well within striking distance of Redwoods National and State Parks.There was plenty of room for two adults and one kid. Our six year-old slept on the couch without issue. Well appointed kitchen. Everything was in good working order and clean. My only complaint was that the down mattress topper was a little soft for me; my wife loved it.We felt at home and relatively secluded, which is what we were looking for.
