Very nice home for a close commute to the Seattle area.

Great price for 4 people that need to stay near the airport or cruise terminal. IHOP restaurant within 15 minutes, then easy drive to the cruise terminal. Only concern was no couch or chairs adjacent to the TV. Exceptionally clean downstairs, no issues at all. Would return again.

It is not a 2 bedroom and it is not kept up very well. Very loud during our stay as well. I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends.

We had a poor experience at this property. First, my colleague who arrived earlier than me was a bit frightened by the area; too dark and surrounded by thick foliage. Second, the outside of the unit and particularly the inside of the unit smelled of cat urine. I communicated this to the host who replied essentially (paraphrasing) 'that isn't possible because the upstairs tenants are very tidy and they clean out the litter box each day. Besides, all the other reviewers provided good reviews." Isn't it interesting that one could smell cat urine around the property as well as on the inside without actually knowing that there was a cat living in the other unit? The response was 'I guess each guest has different levels of sensitivity.'' I suppose that's true; if you have any sensitivity to smelling cat urine, I'd suggest this isn't the property for you. I'm sure the host will respond with the implication that my review is inaccurate; I can't control that, and don't care to argue about it. With respect to the property, it was a little weird that there was an access door that presumably leads to the upstairs apartment, but the lock required having a key. I don't know if that means on the other side of the door, there was a lock mechanism that allowed the upstairs tenant to access the lower unit? It seemed odd. Good luck in your property search; caveat emptor.

Mercer Island is at the central location of Seattle, 4 miles west to Seattle downtown, 4 miles east to Bellevue downtown. This house is at 90th Ave SE, Mercer Island, with beautiful landscaping on the whole street of 90th Ave SE, easy access to I-90, while at quiet dead end street. No public traffic to 90th Ave SE, only around 7 houses on both sides of 90th Ave SE).
