Get ready for some sun and relaxation! Located in Ottertail, this newly renovated house is ready for the entire family! Crimson Beach Retreat boasts 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms!
Upstairs is a master King bedroom attached to a walk through half bath as well as 2 queen bedrooms and a full bathroom. Downstairs is a Master suite with King bed and private full bath. Across the hall downstairs is the Bunk Room with 2 Double XL beds (bunk), and Twin XL over Queen bunk the third full bathroom is down the hall. In the living space downstairs is a Queen Murphey bed for extra sleeping accomodation. Upstairs in the main living area the couch folds out into a Queen sofabed for extra sleeping. The additional living space downstairs offer even more comfort with a full sectional couch, wet bar and 65” TV.
Imagine spending the day lounging in the sun, playing with the kids in the sand and the tranquil evenings spent around the fire making memories with your family. We hope you enjoy what our place and Ottertail has to offer.
The kitchen is fully stocked whether you're having a quick wiener roast at the fire pit, steaks on the smoker or preparing a thanksgiving dinner inside. As a family friendly rental we have a pack and play available should you need it, nightlights and a sleep machine in the kids room which is set up for the ultimate Disney slumber party!
In addition to a home suitable for the extended family fully stocked with sand toys and 2 kayaks we have the option to rent a pontoon to make the most of the lake and great pan fishing- think northern, crappie, bass and sun fish.
The ultimate location for all the summer activities in both Ottertail (5 minutes) and Perham (15 minutes). Both towns boast their small town charms including boutique shopping, golf courses, restaurants, a brewery, grocery stores, liquor stores and gas.
As this is a new renovation we are excited to share our hard work with vacationing families however the grass is still a work-in-progress due to recent construction! The driveway has been re-done and extra parking added to allow for larger groups to park on the gravel.

Great location for a golf trip, multiple courses nearby. House was clean and had all the necessities for a big group. Host was very responsive and any questions were quickly answered.

The private beach was great, lake was clear and shallow which was great for our group of young kids. Host responsiveness was quick and helpful. We had an issue with the pellet grill and the oven and the host filling in was quick to alleviate that with dropping off a new gas grill. House cleanliness needed a little improvement- which was communicated to the host. We cleaned a lot upon arrivalThe house updates are very cute! Large deck was awesome and the view from the house was great. Some cons- there is no storage space for a larger group of guests bringing in food, snacks, etc..lots of closets and the garage were locked, so assuming one of those was a pantry that could have been utilized as storage. A lot of the doors(especially bathroom doors) weren’t shimmed in correctly, so they wouldn’t even shut all the way, or were so hard to close and open that middle of the night bathroom users woke others in the house. No scissors to be found in the house. Bed pillows were so so thick and the pillows in the bunk room weren’t in sheets- just in the decorative shams. Thermostat was very inaccurate, but thankfully the house stayed ice cold in the heat and humidity. Only half the toaster worked. And the fly situation- never seen anything like it. Tons of large and small flies all over, which appears that hosts are trying to help that by having fly traps out. The water in the house smelled bad, so our guess was the flies were drain flies. Hosts were very friendly through messages.

We also appreciate your kind words about our responsiveness, as we always strive to address any concerns as quickly as possible. When the pellet grill unexpectedly malfunctioned, we were happy to deliver a replacement gas grill right away so your group could continue enjoying your stay.
We do want to respectfully clarify that prior to your arrival, our professional cleaning team completed a full turnover of the home, as they always do, and we have consistently received strong feedback regarding their work. During your stay, we were informed of concerns regarding cleanliness but were not given the opportunity to return and address them in real time, as our team is always available to promptly resolve any issues if notified.
We appreciate constructive feedback and use it to continually improve our home. Since your visit, we have addressed several maintenance items, including kitchen equipment, and we have our maintenance crew scheduled to address the door adjustments you mentioned.
As for storage, the home is designed with ample kitchen cabinetry for guests, while a few owner closets are intentionally locked to securely store supplies and personal items, which is standard practice for vacation rentals.
Being a lakefront property, seasonal insects can occasionally be present despite our regular pest control efforts and preventative measures. We continuously work to minimize this, especially during the warmer months.
We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that your family was able to enjoy many of the features that make our lake home special. We remain committed to providing a great experience for future guests.

We had a great stay at this vrbo! Ben answered are questions very quickly and was very attentive. Did not realize that the lake was pretty shallow but still caught a few fish off the dock. Many memories were made with family!

We had 12 family members stay at the Crimson cabin and it had plenty of space and was very clean. The hosts communicated quickly and were helpful when needed. The sandy beach was also a hit with our family.

Family friendly. Host was responsive to questions and requests and threw in some fresh eggs! House was very clean and spacious.
