I had a lovely stay at this quiet brook side cabin in the mountains. Beautiful decor and amazing woodwork finishes! A comfortable cozy environment. ...This location gets five stars...the quiet mornings... taking hikes and swims during the day... Amazing sounds of wildlife and birds. So relaxed here. I truly enjoyed my visit to Robbie's cabin

Lovely cabin in the woods

Lovely property, isolated in the woods. Great place to unwind. Well maintained and nicely decorated inside, it is a really nice cabin right by a river.

Romantic getaway

The cabin had the best vibe for a couple trying to getaway together. The aesthetic both inside and outside of the property was just perfect for us. I could not speak more highly of a place and I cannot wait to go back.

Amazing location and beautifully renovated with a soundtrack of a flowing creek. So nice not to be able to use phones and devices. Just two nights there but feeling rejuvenated.

Special home in the woods

We loved this home! Cozy, well-designed — a perfect mix of rustic with modern elements. The location was a good jumping-off point for some nearby hiking and exploring, as well as easy access to North Hampton and East Hampton. Thank you!

Lovely cottage in the woods

We can't wait to go back! This cottage was a perfect relaxation headquarters- lots of nature to surround ourselves with (brook included) and easy to get to fun and charming towns. The house had everything we needed and the owners made it all super easy. 10/10!

An Autumn Getaway to Remember

Just as we were finally getting some crisp fall weather we made our way out to The Glow Room. Truly a relaxing place to spend a long weekend walking the nearby trails and gazing out at the rushing river. Every window has another lovely autumn scene. We’ll be back!

Magical

It’s an overworked word, I know, but I can’t think of a better way to describe the many discoveries and unexpected beauties this property offers. The cabin is as cozy and lovely as the photos show, and unusually well-appointed for a rental. The forest and water and wildflowers that surround it are even better. I loved the remote location, too.

A quiet peaceful retreat in western Mass.

Visiting the east coast from New Mexico, we were looking for a place in the woods where work and email couldn't follow us. The house and location were perfect. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed and the temperature was perfect inside the house. Lots of natural beauty nearby - feels isolated but there are lots of lovely small towns a short drive away. It was great - would love to return.

An Absolute Dream

I think if I wrote everything I wanted to say, it would be a novel, so I’ll keep it short. The Glow Room is a beautiful place. It is clean, spacious, and in the most peaceful area. I highly recommend this home if you’re looking to get away from everything.

Beautiful fall weekend stay

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The place is gorgeous and comfortable, and the setting was stunning, with the stream across the road and great walking trails right out the front door. Unfortunately, the battery in our car died while we were there, and Robbie was incredibly helpful. She drove us to a rental place so we could salvage the rest of the weekend. We were so thankful! We would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful stay.

Beautiful home in a quiet safe area. No wifi or cell reception which was ok for the most part but when we needed to check on our teenage children we needed to drive to get a signal. House offers plenty to do such as board games and puzzles. Garden area was beautiful. River across the street was amazing. Street was very scary to come down in the dark. It’s not paved and downhill. I was happy it wasn’t winter when we had to drive there. Hosts were great.

Beautiful Woodsy Cabin!

We loved staying in the beautifully equipped rustic and modern home! Waking up every morning surrounded by trees and sunlight was breathtaking. My family of three was so at home, we didn’t want to leave! I’d recommend coming with all your supplies (food etc.) so you don’t have to go town unless you really want to. The 30 minute trek to town and to get cell service was a little tricky for us being new to the areas, but so worth it to enjoy the beauty of nature and wilderness at the cabin. We enjoyed visiting the nearby towns of East Hampton & Northampton too!

Beautiful, cozy winter hideaway!

We booked a very needed, very last-minute weekend in this cozy yet spacious cabin in the woods. You can tell from the guest book overflowing with stories (and illustrations!), the found river rocks adorning many corners of the cabin and the vintage and vintage-looking decor and lighting choices that this place is well-loved. The pictures barely do it justice. We can’t wait to come back and explore in the summer when the brook comes alive again. Thank you Robbie for accepting our last-minute booking!! We loved the Glow Room and we left glowing.

Waterfall bliss

We had one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives at the magical waterfall nearby this little house (accessible only by an interesting 30' hike). The Glow room itself was nice inside- clean and airy, and the beds were comfortable I was disappointed that there was no screened in outdoor space to hang out (there is a front porch, but it is not kept up well or furnished to relax). But if you like to hike, and love a babbling brook, then the location is a joy.
