Escape to this private RV picturesque Newport. This cozy rental features 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed. With heat, AC, and WiFi, guests can stay comfortable and connected. Enjoy our 20 acre pastoral setting with horses and walk along Spruce Run Creek, while only 15 minutes from Blacksburg, VA.

Experience the magic of the New River Valley at our private get away with great recreation only minutes away:
10-15 minutes from New River public access at Big Falls or Eggleston Boat Launch
10 minutes to Pandapas Pond
20 minutes to Mountain Lake Lodge
20 minutes to multiple river outfitters for your kayaking and fishing experience on the New River
30 minutes to The Cascades

The location was beautiful and a great place to rest our tired bodies after a long VT Football day. All information regarding the RV and property were thoroughly provided and we’d definitely stay there again!

Murphy acres was a beautiful place to stay. Our toddler absolutely loves being able to see and feed the horses. Definitely would recommend and would love to stay again!!

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The horses are an added bonus of peacefulness making this location unique. Hotels can be beautiful and noisy, this place was like a little slice of heaven. Stay there you won’t be disappointed. John was very good at keeping in touch and seeing if we needed anything. I will definitely stay there again if I am going that way.

It is so beautiful here and super close to Tech! We really enjoyed the property, the location, and the outdoor area to hang out was perfect with the fire pit, horses, and tables! We really enjoyed ourselves!

John the owner was incredible. He even provided my son and I a parking pass to the Virginia Tech vs Miami game. RV was perfect for us. I even managed to catch a bucket list musky on my trip!

A peaceful retreat, perfect for stargazing, sitting around a fire pit and getting away from “the noise”. RV was clean & comfortable. Private, outdoor shower is a nice, roomy addition! John is an excellent host that communicates readily.

Amazing Spot

Came in to paddle a few sections of the New River. John’s place is perfect for a short or even longer stay. He literally thinks of everything. The land itself is like a mountain paradise-a gentle, quiet place to rest your bones after a day of fun.

Really special spot: RV was awesome, outdoor shower, propane fire pit, horses, fishing pond, super chill ambient lights at night and an oversized picnic bench all nestled in a safe, private picturesque outdoor environment. Would return!

Great weekend getaway

John was very responsive to my questions. Property was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from campus. Loved having the horses and creek to greet us each morning. Look forward to coming back in the fall.

Simply peaceful and cozy

We arrived later in the evening than we had hoped. It was dark so we could not fully appreciate the beauty around us until morning. The camper was cozy and immaculate: Everything we could possibly need. Temps had dipped and they had it nice and warm for us. This was our first time EVER staying in a camper. Pleasantly impressed. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely space in Giles! The horses were so beautiful to look at! The RV smelled sooo good! I wanna know what they use! It was a perfect little space super close to Mountain Lake Lodge, Cascades, gorgeous hikes! The drive alone to the RV was country paradise! We saw so many different animals. Just a wonderful little spot with a great host! The RV is decorated so perfectly and the outdoor space is adorable and a great place to relax!! 10/10

Great stay. Peaceful and relaxing.

Great location. Very peaceful and relaxing. We were only there for a quick overnight stay for graduation at Va Tech. This was a great solution when our original plans fell through. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the place has to offer. My only current concern staying longer is the lack of a shower. However, that was advertised up front and I understand from owner a shower will be operable soon. Communication with the owner was great. We were very impreased with the place and the entire experience.

VT Graduation Trip

I booked the RV for my son’s graduation at VT. It was such a convenient and beautiful location and a short drive to campus. The camper was comfortable and clean! With enough room for my two adult kids to stay with me. John was readily available with answers to any questions. He responded immediately and was a very helpful host! The location is remote enough to be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the valley, yet close to the highway for easy access. The horse pasture and surrounding hillside were beautiful. I enjoyed walking and exploring the surroundings. And hearing the creek while watching the horses was so relaxing. Day and night. I highly recommend this vacation spot to anyone wanting a unique stay in the area.

STAY HERE if you love camping with farming on the side.

This was such a welcoming booking from day one. I cannot praise our stay enough. If you want a camping trip, this is your spot. You need not bring anything but what you're planning to eat. Your hosts really have thought of everything. All you have to bring is your food and drinks. Coffee, filters, and water is already there. If your backs aren't compatible with Adirondack chairs, definitely bring your own.I don't know how I got so lucky. Someone is always on hand to help. And the sparkly porta-pot has no smell, another surprise! This was the absolute best experience I've had in a very long time. Thank you, John, Crystal, and Nick.and everything wash.
