Our relaxing vacation nightly rental cabin is situated in the heart of the Black Hills located 1.2 miles North of Hill City, SD. This spacious cabin has a fully furnished kitchen, gas grill, hot tub, laundry, satellite TV, and Wifi. This vacation home provides its guests with a fully furnished home away from home.

For sleeping arrangements, our family cabin provides two bedrooms with queen beds, a loft that contains a queen bed and the living room contains a convertible sofa that easily sleeps two.

Our cabin provides easy access to Hill City & Mount Rushmore. An ideal vacation spot for families, reunions, retreats and honeymoons looking to take advantage of everything the Black Hills has to offer.

Some key attractions accessible from our cabin:
A) Mount Rushmore - 10 miles
B) Deadwood - 1 Hour Drive
C) 5 National Parks located in the Black Hills of SD
D) Custer State Park
E) Crazy Horse Monument

Our central location in the Black Hills allows for simple day trips to access the entire SD Black Hills area.

Just the right spot

We had a lovely stay! It’s such a cozy home and obviously well-loved. The three of us had more than enough space to spread out and chill. And the area itself was gorgeous with a light dusting of snow and clear blue skies. My only ‘complaint’ is living too far away to book again and again!

Fabulous Cabin!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin and it exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. Communication with the owners/managers was prompt and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again if back in the beautiful Black Hills.

Could have stayed longer

Nice vacation rental in Hill City. Close to everything we wanted to see. Nice furnishings (although we anticipated a king bed). Comfortable living area, wished the hot tub had a privacy fence. We would've loved to stay more nights.

Wonderful log cabin!

We had the best time staying at this property. It was the most well equipped VRBO I have ever been in, which is saying something! The proximity to activities was great and we enjoyed the hot tub. We were comfortable as well as our two grandchildren. I Highly recommend!

Rustic Glamp Experience

Loved this property! It offered a rustic backwoods experience but with all the amenities of a cozy hotel. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring the Black Hills. Definitely recommend!

Black Hills

The house was wonderful and had plenty of room. Kitchen very well stocked. It was a great location for doing day trips in the Black Hills. Owners were wonderful in their communication.

Great stay

Communication with the owner and property manager was great! We were not there very much, just to shower and sleep. This property was convenient to see Crazy Horse, Custer Park, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands and Walt Drugstore. Everything we needed was in the house. Thanks!

Week Before Sturgis

First off, this property was very Clean! It also had anything and everything you could need in the kitchen. The owner of the property was very easy to get along with, answered any and all issues the best he could. Really the only issue we had was with the AC unit. This cabin is very large, and one window AC unit will Not keep up with the heat we experienced while there. Also, one other minor detail I wish would have been disclosed before we arrived was, they need to let you know there is only enough room for two vehicles to park there and if you bring a 3rd vehicle like another car, truck or trailer you have to take it somewhere else to park it. This should be disclosed when you make the reservation, seeing how it sleeps up to 8 people. Anyways, if they were to get the AC (install a Mini-split, this would definitely fix this AC issue) figured out we would most definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin, everything we needed to set up house keeping. Convenient to every where we went to in the Hiills. It was quiet and easy to get to. No problems. Very nice and comfortable home.

Misleading information

The house was very nice and the location was perfect. One of the owners Chad seems to be a very nice guy. However there is ZERO privacy and my biggest complaint is the misleading information on the rules. One of the amenities that is at the top of our list is a hot tub. I never received the rental agreement until it was time to check in. Things happen, I’m not upset about it. When I received it I found out my children were not allowed in the hot tub and smoking was not allowed anywhere on the property. That information should have been known from the start. If I refused to sign it I wouldn’t have had a place to stay and the $1,200 I paid would have been forfeited. BE MORE CLEAR WITH THE RULES BEFORE PEOPLE HAVE A BUNCH OF MONEY ON THE LINE!!!!!

Great location

This was the perfect place for a 2 day stay while we explored the region. 15-minute drive to Mt Rushmore or Crazy Horse. Hill City was a very nice town for exploring. Great wineries and breweries less than a mile from the property. Hot tub was very relaxing at the end of the day. Had all the extra kitchen accessories you can image. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Hill City

The house is perfect. It’s clean, comfortable and a beautiful setting. Hill City is also a perfect base of operations for a Black Hills vacation. We watched deer nearly every night from the hot tub. Thanks for the sharing your cottage with us. The Couture family.

Very helpful manager and owner

My husband had a medical emergency while we vacationing and checking out of the cabin would have been very difficult. Both the manager and the owner were very compassionate and helpful in extending our stay a couple days, enough for him to get back on his feet. Without the help they provided it would not have gone well. Thank you so much!

Perfect cabin for visiting Black Hills

Clean, spacious cabin. Well equipped for visitors. Beautiful location. Check in and out was a breeze. Easy access to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, 1880 train etc. We used the hot tub and enjoyed sitting outside. Would rent again without hesitation. Highly recommended.
