Totally renovated interior with vaulted ceilings and a brand new kitchen, 50" HD TV, hot tub & outdoor grilling area on covered patio with direct access to the Mickelson Trail for biking and hiking in the summer and close to miles and miles of trails form snowmobiling in the winter! Property is located on Laughing Water Creek and is centrally located in the Black Hills so that you can enjoy all that the Hills have to offer! Sit back and relax with full laundry facilities and a completely modern kitchen for your convenience when you're not out taking in the sites and having fun. Summer or Winter there are lots of things to do in the Black Hills for your enjoyment and this is a great place to set up camp for all the fun!

10/10! We have stayed at this house the last 5 out of 6 years we’ve visited Custer. The house is very clean, and the listing is accurate. The hot tub works well, and we love the covered parking area for all the impromptu hail SD gets! The host communicates promptly and effectively, check in and out are very easy.

The property was extremely well maintained and clean. Quick backstory- this was the house my mother grew up in and where I spent 2 weeks every summer when I was young. The host was so gracious to leave flowers with a note that said “Welcome home. Enjoy your reunion”. I brought my mother back for her 65th highschool reunion. Such a wonderful stay. I took full advantage of the Michelson Trail passes that were provided. Beautiful walk.

We’ve stayed in many cabins around the country, and this one was one of the best equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We spent nine days exploring the Black Hills, and this cabin is very convenient to Custer State Park and its hikes and beauty and within reasonable driving distance to Wind Cave National Park sights, the Badlands, and Spearfish and Deadwood in the northern Black Hills.

An attractive home away from home with a big yard in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and so many amenities! My 3 grandsons and I enjoyed our 3 day/2 night adventure with this perfect location in Custer! 2 bedrooms and an air mattress made it possible for everyone to have a sleeping option! The beds were so comfortable! We also enjoyed an evening in the hot tub! EVERYTHING you need is available in the kitchen! Thank you for the bottled water and drinks! Deer were in abundance every evening! We intend to travel here again!

We had a great time staying here. The beds were very comfortable. We ate most of our meals out, but the kitchen was well equipped for any appliance we could have needed. Every single day we saw wildlife. We can't wait to come back to Custer!

Beautiful Location

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed visiting the area. The cabin was perfect for our needs and enjoyed the short walk to town. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice rental in Custer. It's a short distance from the downtown area. Super nice hot tub that we used eqch night after hiking. The house has everything you need.

It was great. Loved the deer that came into the yard. NIcely located to downtown and the Mikkelson Trail. The fall colors in Custer Park were gorgeous. Too bad the museum closed for the season the day we got there.

Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is in a quiet location several blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Custer is a very nice town that has a little bit of everything and we found it to be less than 20 minute drive to just about everywhere we wanted to go in the hills. The owner was responsive and check in was simple.

For many years we have loved the Custer SD area and, when we got the opportunity to purchase our vacation home, Laughing Water Cabin, we jumped at the chance! We purchased it as a family and we love to share it with others when we can't be there to enjoy it ourselves.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We found our vacation home one day as we were hiking the Mickelson Trail. It was situated in a nice quiet little area with deer and wild turkeys roaming about. Once we took a look at the inside of the house we were sold! It's located close to anything you need to do in town and centrally located in the Black Hills so that you can enjoy ALL the Black Hills have to offer!
