The beautiful property exceeded our expectations — clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Near every place we wanted to see and do great restaurants museums coffee shops riverwalk are within walking distance. We had a great time the house has a lot of charter and room.

The host was responsive and very easy to work with. The home is BEAUTIFUL!!! The home smelled great and was very clean. The location was fantastic. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops and just around the neighborhood to look at all of the beautiful homes.

This is an absolutely gorgeous home that has been meticulously updated. We chose it because it is walking distance to so many attractions and is located in a lovely neighborhood. It’s wonderfully outfitted with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the linens are beautiful. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t top-notch!

Excellent

Needed a place to stay while in town for several nights for a family event. The house was perfect. Unique and just a beautiful historic home. All communication with the owner was great and she replied in a timely manner. Would stay again.

This house is beautiful and in a great location for the riverwalk! It was close enough that we could walk or take a quick uber to the riverwalk. We stayed for a our girls trip so there were 9 women and this was plenty of room! The house is historic and is decorated beautifully like all historic homes its hard to cool down,we came when the temps were in low 80s and we felt a little warm but not uncomfortable nothing a portable fan cant fix!. Parking was great and we had our own driveway so we didnt have to worry about parking on street and fighting for parking spots. Im gonna book this house again later this year for a different group because im impressed with this house!

Senior Trip!

Another mom and I brought our daughters and their friends (7girls in total) to San Antonio for their senior trip after graduating from high school. This house was perfect! Perfect size, layout, and location. Within walking distance of the River Walk and lots of restaurants and a quick drive from other fun attractions. It was perfect!

Host was very communicative and responsive. The house is a beauty in a wonderful historic neighborhood. Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to everything we wanted to do (Riverwalk, Alamo, Hemisfair, etc.). Great restaurants and coffee shop one block away! Know that to enjoy a historic home you need to factor in stairs, smaller bathroom counter space, etc. This home has a ton of windows creating a light-filled atmosphere which was wonderful during the day (but a little too much street light at night). There is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor so if you’re traveling with someone elderly or with mobility challenges, this is great. All the bedrooms were very, very large. There’s a huge dining room plus a breakfast nook in the kitchen, which is well-equipped with modern appliances. Near to grocery store. The only thing that bothered me was that none of the windows in the home would open (painted shut, not uncommon in old homes). The weather was so nice on the second day of our trip, it would have been nice to open a few windows rather than use the AC. And not sure if it’s a safety issue that windows cannot be opened in bedrooms in case of fire? It’s a grand old house on a very large lot so despite being so near to many things, it was pretty quiet. Small park across the street too.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful, clean, and the perfect space for our group of 10 women on a girls’ trip. The host was responsive and helpful, including bringing us an additional box fan when requested. The house is older, so there were a few quirks, including inconsistent water pressure and temperature in the bathrooms. We also would have appreciated being able to keep the air conditioning a bit cooler. Overall, it was a lovely property and a great place for our group to spend time together!

Wonderful venue for our family gathering! Beautiful historic home with historic charm. Very convenient to River Walk and great dining (try Tokyo Cowboy!). Will definitely book it again if we have another family reunion in San Antonio.
