The trash issue was a big issue

For future guests, we asked this guest to keep extra trash in the garage because the bear box enclosure was full. Most homes in northstar don’t have bear boxes, so this is normal procedure. That was the trash issue, the guest didn’t want to keep trash in the garage.

Great place. Not ski season but would be a great place to stay if you were to go for skiiing! Very spacious for our family stay.

This was a great spot! The description was accurate and the location was perfect. I liked how they had beach chairs and toys in the garage, we didn't use them, but it was a good touch for guests traveling from far. Host communication was prompt and the amenities and HOA access were our favorite part. The pools and arcade wereTwo small negatives- first, some of the pans/dishes were dirty, I'm talking I reached to grab a baking sheet and my thumb stuck into some thick grease. As a vegetarian, it was gross. Second small complaint, first world problem really, was there was no coffee. Usually, all places have at least one serving of coffee. North Star doesn't have a ton of options and not having coffee that first morning was rough. Again, not a huge problem or deal breaker, just something to note...bring coffee. Other than that our stay was great. Clean, convenient and beautiful!

We’re sorry for the cleaning miss. For future guests, that is correct, we do not supply coffee. A list of what we do supply is sent out in an “FAQ” email two weeks prior to arrival.

The basic house is very nice but lots of little minor maintenance and repairs like light switches and knobs haven’t been done for quite a while.

Everything was great, pretty much as expected except Bed in 4th bedroom. Described as trundle, shown in pics as full/queen, agency kind enough to ck and said was Queen, actually was a full.Would suggest keeping baby gates onsite for inside stairs, which are quite steep. Rented some thru agency so all good except inconvenience of having to do so. Very lucky w snow, which came in mid week and gave us a white Xmas! Snow removal very good, did require some shoveling by us as should be expected. House well equipped and very nice; awesome hot tub!
