Our cozy home on Rim Dr has beautiful views from the grand living/family room, a freestanding real wood fire stove and a large flat screen TV with cable/Wifi and a stereo system. The house has all necessary appliances and fixtures throughout, newly tiled bathrooms, and carpet in the all bedrooms. There is lovely oak flooring in the grand family room.

There is a covered Hot-Tub with seating for up to 6 people, professionally maintained. This Tahoe Rim Home is warm and comfortable, perfect for Tahoe vacations all year round.

Fabulous Tahoe “tree house”

This house is spacious and very well designed for a family group hanging out in the open wood-paneled living room with high ceilings or dining out on the lovely deck. We made several elaborate dinners/breakfasts, and the kitchen was very accommodating (with dishwasher!) It doesn’t directly overlook the lake, though you can see patches of the water through branches of beautiful tall trees. It’s also very close to Kings Beach and only 15 mins or so from Tahoe City, where there are many great restaurants and good ol’ Fanny Bridge, by the Truckee River.

Great location and perfect for a cozy Christmas !

Beautiful neighborhood, close to park for family sledding, Tahoe City, King’s beach. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of pillows and comforters in bedrooms. Great wood stove. Would stay again!

Great spot!

Loved this property’s location, close to many things to do in North Tahoe. Nice, quiet neighborhood, would love to stay again. Layout of the home was perfect for us and some extended family together.

Great property and access to everything

We had a girls weekend here and it was a great property and we can get to all areas of the lake easily. The property was just as expected and comfortable for each of us.

Great location

Great location to the lake, peaceful and beautiful. They had amenities that you needed. It’s a great house but if you have toddlers/baby I recommend bringing a baby gate.

Cozy lodge feel super close to lake

Lovely place, smokey weather

Place was exactly like the photos and very pay for the 4 of us. It was a real bummer the weather was so smokey because we wanted to spend more time in the hot tub and on the incredible deck.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in a nice location. Nicely set up for families with kids. The property was clean and as described. Could use a little love in the downstairs bathroom shower/tub and some additional cookware but all in all, we loved it and would certainly stay again! Thank you!

Great Property

Excellent property for a family stay. Good location not far from Safeway/restaurants/beaches. Had all of the amenities we needed to cook meals at the house (kids loved the waffle maker!). Layout of the rooms was perfect for two families--house felt very spacious. The hot tub and BBQ both worked as advertised, and plenty of entertainment options with the provided Roku. Definitely will book again!

The house is nice and big but many things in the kitchen are old and in disrepair. There is a mouse that lives in the house. I first saw its poo on the living room side table and then we saw it running by the TV during the night. The host lists a private pool and bbq as amenities. They confirmed that there is no pool and we aren't allowed to use the bbq, it was locked up. It could use a visit from the owners to update the kitchen supplies and it needs more towels for the kitchen and bathrooms. The hot tub was very chlorinated, so much my kids were coughing while sitting in it. Aside from those things, we did enjoy how close it was to the lake, the views and the spaciousness. The cooling system was very nice and worked well. We all slept comfortably on the beds, the master has a sleep number bed which was a nice surprise.

Week in Tahoe

I spent a great week in Lake Tahoe. The location was great for Skiing at Alpine and Palisades. Two minor issues. The coffee pot was broken and the hot tub was set to warm.

Good location

Good location, large house. It was nice and clean when we arrived. The master bedroom mattress was too soft for us. It does need to be changed.

Beautiful home and location

We loved staying here, wish our trip was longer, but we'll definitely be back. Check in and out was easy, everything was clean and very comfortable. Found everything I needed in the kitchen. Only issue I had was getting the coffee maker to work.... but that could have been user error. I especially appreciated that the driveway was cleared of ice and snow. Thanks again!

Great location

Positives: Great location and extremely clean. There is a view of the lake but you have to walk down the road a bit to really see the lake. Negatives: When we arrived at the cabin 30 minutes past our scheduled check in time and after a 7hr drive, the cleaners were still there. While I appreciate that they were thorough and did an awesome job, we had groceries to put away and were delayed almost 2 hours. We were excited to grill our first night and both propane tanks were empty. The owner did communicate with us and apologized but it was frustrating. Also, there was no table on the deck as shown in the picture but we did find one down in the yard and brought that one up to use. Overview: This cabin was very clean and the owner communicated with us. I do believe that many renters before us have been extremely rough on this cabin.

Beds were in very poor shape. Only 2 washcloths for 4 people! Only 2 hand towels. Bath towels sufficient. No dishcloth in the kitchen and only 1 dish towel. Furniture on deck very dirty. Hot tub cloudy and extremely hot. Blinds in 2 bedrooms broken.

The house is in a quiet location. You can tell the house is dated and it would be nice to see some upgraded features like new mattresses. The kitchen countertops are nice but the cupboards were super old and most of the dishes were dirty when we arrived. Not a deal-breaker. There's a dishwasher there and we washed everything. The deck was nice, but again, old furniture. We didn't use the hot tub so I can't comment. Overall, the house is a beautiful house but could use some TLC. (Like the toilet paper roll was broken downstairs. That's an easy fix). You could easily take 1-2 payments from guests and reinvest it into the house. This would be a huge improvement. Communication was not great. Even though codes were in the initial email, they were buried below and missed. That's my fault but it would be an easy fix to just put that information right at the top. We were calling attempting to try to reach the host but didn't receive anything until the next day. Overall, the house is nice, just dated. It's too bad that they don't give it some TLC. It would really go a long ways. It was a nice place to relax. Especially the deck.

We fell in love with Lake Tahoe upon moving to California in 1984. We rented vacation homes for a while and acquired a taste for Tahoe's rustic and mountain living. Being an athletic and adventurous family, we were drawn to Tahoe for all seasons. Over the years we have remodeled our home and made it a vacation paradise for others to enjoy as well!

LOCATION! We fell in love with its cozy feel and perfect location. Not to mention the amazing lake views! Some other handy perks include County maintained roads always open in the winter, and snow removal for the driveway, and easy access to 5 ski resorts... Nevada Casinos are just few miles away as well. The house is great and has the mountain feel with a classic A-frame and wrap around deck.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our favorite activities are snowboarding and skiing at any one of several ski resorts within 10-15 minutes drive. During the summer we enjoy boating, paddle boarding and even wakeboarding on the crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe. Our Evenings are usually spent on the deck having dinner with friends and family.
