We had a wonderful stay--the property was clean and nicely appointed. It was the perfect size for a long weekend. The hosts were very responsive to messaging during our stay, and the check in/check out process couldn't have been easier. The location was ideal, as you are right in town, an easy walk to the beach, and a surprisingly easy walk to nearby Asbury.

This property offers an excellent location and comfortable accommodations. However, sound carries easily between units due to thin walls. During our stay, we experienced noise from neighboring guests who didn't observe the quiet hours, and being on the ground floor, we could hear foot traffic from other guests throughout the night.

I contacted the host (through the app) when I arrived because the room was very cold. The A/C was on and there was no thermostat. Additionally, there is a large gap under the door that lead into the lobby of the home. I had to shove bags under it to try to create some kind of seal. I slept in my clothes because the room was so cold and there were no additional blankets. I never heard back from the host, so the next day I called. I left a message with an answering service. Someone texted me where to find the thermostat, but they had the wrong apartment. My apartment did not have a thermostat. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Shortly thereafter they wrote back and said they would need to contact a plumber to fix the heat. I left for the day and didn't hear anything. I texted in the early evening and was told that it was fixed. When I got back to the apartment, it was warmer and the heat was working. Lastly, the picture shown is not what the room looked like. There was no chair and the bed was not in that location. As a former Ocean Grove resident, I'm familiar with the old Victorian homes, which is why I chose to stay in one. I used to live in one on Heck Ave. It is advertised as fully renovated, but there were water stains on the ceiling and the door into the apartment really needs to be fixed. I could have slid books through the gap. The bathroom was spacious and overall the apartment was clean.

Picture of the bedroom was not as depicted in the ad, big gap under door entrance to the room, box spring mattress missing lowering the bed extremely low, shower curtain fell down even before I got a chance to use it should be anchored on both sides. Positives were the hvac was great, the bathroom nice and very easy to access with a code.

It was easy to get in the room with an access code. No need to worry about a key or key card. The room itself was clean and all necessary remotes and items were easy to find, however the windows were really dirty, so we kept the blinds closed. The bed was comfy and the refrigerator had enough space for what we needed. The house was a very short walk to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants which was very convenient. We would have used the porch, but there was a large lift/contraption taking up half of it.
