This was certainly the best VRBO rental we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was stocked with equipment beyond expectation, the house was immaculately clean, and communication with the owner was nearly instantaneous! Thank you for an awesome week!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house and property are beautiful and extremely well maintained. The host was so friendly and thoughtful—everything from coffee and toiletries to popcorn for the movie theater was provided. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Wonderful place! There are so many activities to keep you entertained at this house. We had fun in the pool and we also enjoyed the garage game room. We would love to stay here again!

Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for our family vacation! From the registration process throughout our entire stay, your communication was top-notch, and everything exceeded our expectations. The amenities, cleanliness, and accommodations were absolutely perfect.A wonderful time was had by everyone, and your beautiful home was truly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The almost 2-year-old, 10-year-old, and 12-year-old had an absolute blast, and the parents and grandparents enjoyed it just as much!From the arcade games and swimming in either pool to pizza night, relaxing in the hot tub, grilling out, movie nights, and poker nights, there was truly something for everyone.We even had the perfect ending to our stay. The thunderstorm we got to enjoy from the covered deck on our last night was breathtakingly beautiful, especially with the multiple rainbows that appeared afterward. And then, as if that wasn’t special enough, we had a brief visit from Mama Bear and her three cubs as they fed on berries at the edge of the yard. Those were truly magical moments that made our stay even more memorable!As we said, all you really need to bring are your clothes—everything else is there, and it feels just like home!Thank you again for providing such a beautiful place for our family to relax, have fun, and, most importantly, create treasured memories together. We truly appreciate your hospitality and hope to have the opportunity to return someday!

The communication from Kristi was excellent. The amenities were thoughtful, plentiful and much appreciated. We had a wonderful week celebrating the New Year with family. The grandkids especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and movie theater. The big kids loved the game room. Thanks for making us feel right at home.

This property was just so perfect for my large family to enjoy. Everyone in the group commented about how nice it was with the Mountain View’s, large bedrooms, the indoor pool, hot tub, entertainment room and large kitchen. The back deck is a great place to soak up the view and sun. We had 3 couples, 7 single adults and 3 kids and all had their own bed! The grill and pizza oven came in very handy for our dinners. The kids had a ball in the pool! I really can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this home over Christmas week. We had 14 people including 4 children 10 or under. This home is well planned to support large groups. Large eating area, large kitchen with plenty of equipment to support cooking and eating needs. The game room is great as well as the theatre room. We did not get to use the outside pool though the kids enjoyed the indoor pool as a way to use their energy. The firepit was great. The weather was perfect for us so that helped to make it a focus in the evening. Highly recommend this home and I would rent it again.

The house was absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our family for our small immediate family during our wedding at Pretty Place! Everything about the house screamed luxury, because that’s what it was! Would love to come back if we ever plan another family trip to Asheville. Only complaint is that we didn’t book the house for a few more day!! Thank you!

Amazing home

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was even better than the photos—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, and just as many spots to come together and hang out as a group.What really stood out was how much there was to do—our group included several young adults, and they were never bored. From games and entertainment options to relaxing outdoor spaces, the property had everything we needed for a fun and memorable trip.The location was great, and the host was responsive and easy to work with. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

The interior of the house is well laid out, spacious and stylistically is very attractive. It’s perfect for a large family like ours. Kristi has made a “fun experience” a priority with 2 pools, yard games, a fire pit, game room, theater, popcorn machine and more. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of dining space. For the price- the exterior does need attention for the lawn is unmowed, weeds, poison ivy by the pool, and bare untidy flower beds. Also, an unexpected distraction from our family vacation is a “watchdog” neighbor who screamed at various members of our family for patting her horse right by the road, leaning on the fence to apologize to her, for stepping 3 steps onto the end of her very long driveway while lifting a child to see a horse rolling in the grass, on a “bear hunt” with an adult at a far distance on the road and for tooting the horn with children beeping, “hello horsies” on the public road. There was only a sign that said “do not feed the horses” -which we did not. The disgruntled neighbor called the deputies to our house for the 3 steps onto driveway & horn beeps. We received too many emails having to explain these innocent incidents. This is an issue between the owner and neighbor that needs to be rectified apart from the guests. Kristi threatened to evict us for the horn beeps (not illegal). It was too much. It’s a wonderful house inside, however I would suggest an alternative if available. We were a non-drinking, non-partying, orderly family.

Thank you for recognizing the spacious layout and the many amenities we’ve worked hard to provide for large families at Twin Oaks Lodge. We’re glad your family enjoyed the pools, game room, theater, fire pit, yard games, and well-equipped kitchen. We do want to clarify the situation involving our neighbor. Prior to and during your stay, our house rules and guest communications specifically asked guests not to approach or interact with the neighboring horses and not to enter neighboring private property. Unfortunately, we received multiple complaints during your stay regarding members of your group approaching the horses and entering the neighbor’s property, ultimately resulting in law enforcement being contacted by the neighbor. Our communications with your group were not intended to interfere with your vacation, but to address the complaints we were receiving and reinforce the property-boundary rules. When concerns continued after those reminders, we explained that any further incidents could jeopardize the reservation. We have an obligation to respect our neighbors’ property rights and to make reasonable efforts to ensure our guests do the same. We are also addressing the exterior landscaping concerns you mentioned, and we appreciate that feedback. Twin Oaks Lodge is designed to be a fun, comfortable gathering place for families, and we’re pleased that you found the home itself spacious, attractive, well equipped, and full of activities. We simply ask all guests to enjoy the property and surrounding area while respecting neighboring private property and animals.

A large group of us stayed, 10 adults and 12 kids. We had a great stay! Everything was well laid out and thought out. We loved the movie room, the game room, the pool, the hot tub, and the morning light coming in over the mountains. Everything worked well, very clean and just overall great. Communication and information we great and clear. Would stay again!
