Coastal home with private beach. Walk out the back door, enjoy the deck, rocky beach and beautiful surroundings.
House is located on Carlow Island. Carlow Island is part of Eastport, connected by a causeway. To reach Eastport, take 190 off Rt 1.
Enjoy quiet time at the ocean, yet only minutes to downtown Eastport. There you will find shopping, restaurants & downeast charm.
1 floor, open concept, 3 bedrooms with 1.5 bath.
Enjoy walking paths, explore the beach, collect seashells, rocks & sea glass. Or just sit back and enjoy the incredible view!

Excellent place to stay. Cozy, clean, welcoming cottage and all with an awesome beach just past the backyard. They were very informative, gave us local places that were open for the season still and they had a binder full of activities and places to eat; all in town and surrounding towns. They went above and beyond.

Comfortable and clean house with an expansive ocean view. A well-kept lawn extends right to the stony beach. If you enjoy a quiet spot by the ocean, this place is for you. Drink your morning coffee watching dramatic sunsets across the bay.

We love this place! Visiting has become an annual tradition for us, and the house, hosts, property, and wonderful town of Eastport are the reasons.

After staying many places Downeast, this remains our favorite beachfront property to stay at. We have been here two times now and we hope to be back again. It has an excellent combination of quiet beachfront seclusion with proximity to Eastport proper. The house itself is efficient, clean and works well for our family of 6. The property is great for kids with a quiet beach great for searching for sea glad. The owners are very responsive and helpful.Highly recommended!

Kitchen was well equipped and even had plenty of spices to cook with. We enjoyed the back deck and the beach. It was absolutely lovely. Hosts were easy to reach with questions. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location. Sit on the porch and watch the sunrise and a stroll on the beach to collect seashells. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Loved our stay here.

Nice relaxing place, excellent view and a nice rocky beach for finding sea glass. One evening we even had a momma deer and her 2 babies walk through the back yard. Cute downtown to check out as well- the host had an excellent guide book waiting, and all the amenities we needed.

The property was everything we expected and more! Amazing views, convenient to town but entirely private, and the beach access was priceless. We found lots of sea glass and enjoyed exploring the beach at different tides. The house had everything we needed, and even bonuses like plastic utensils and paper plates for a picnic and marshmallow sticks when we had a fire. If you don’t like to wake with the sun, bring a sleep mask as it has great sunrise views in the front bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

Such a gorgeous spot - the night sky was brilliant and deers wandering the field were magical! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at the beach cottage. Our hosts were easy to contact, the cottage was clean, and big enough for the three of us. It offered great views and easy access to Eastport.

A great home-base location to explore all downeast Maine has to offer. Local shops & Whale Watching in Eastport a quick drive away and within an hour drive to great hiking & iconic lighthouses. Then the family was able to wind down on the back porch & enjoy the view.

Relaxing oceanfront retreat

Great property! This house has everything you need for your stay! Very clean, good amount of room, and quiet location. We felt like we were to ourselves. Private beach area was great to watch the sunrise, low and high tide, collect sea glass and shells and just relax.

Wonderful Stay on Carlow Island

We greatly enjoyed our four night stay on Carlow Island at this property. It was a quiet area, with plenty of beach, perfect for a family with children to explore. We had a wonderful time, collected a lot of sea glass, and biked down to Eastport and up along the down East sunrise trail into perry.
